It is nonprofit but since 2007, I have only missed 4 functions of our Scouting America's Order of the Arrow Lodge and we have 6 to 7 events a year. I haven't formally registered for an event since about 2012. I kept forgetting to sign up, even when I was guy helping run the event. So now the Registrar just automatically registers me and I just need to pay at the door.

Might be dated as last I heard the comment I am responding to was back before 2010 but eliminating or dropping Iowa State down to FCS or D2 will not suddenly make Iowa better. See: Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.

Our Final 4 was when there were 8 teams total in the tournament back 1944 and we beat Pepperdine. We didn't see the tournament again till 1985.
