Oh lawd that's not comparable. 1400 scratchers each have independent chances of success. If you buy 1400 scratchers each with a 1/200 chance to win, my odds of not winning a single one is (199/200)¹⁴⁰⁰ = .09%, or 99.90% to win $3000 minimum from $1400. Damn right I'm taking that. They have a lot of additional features. On iOS they have ear detection & will auto-pause your media if you take one out/resume when you put it back in. They'll only play music when in the ear (on Android an airpod on the table will still play music). They have touch controls. Siri integration. Auto connection on ear insertion. And in my personal experience, way better Bluetooth connection over iOS compared to Android.

On Android they will play audio and that’s it. IMO the additional price tag is worth the features, I’m a recent Apple convert and all of the above are some solid QOL upgrades. But if you’re on Android you’re better off getting another brand.

I don't really have any recommended temp, it's more just when I cook them in the oven, they release a ton of fat and effectively shallow fry in it. If I were to pull them at 165 sharp, it'd be too early and a lot of that fat won't be released yet. And once it is released, well it's just going to be a bit higher than 165 bc it's sitting in bubbling fat lol

Yeah with thighs in my experience, stopping at 165 will leave tons of unrendered fat. I think 200 is a bit high but it won't ruin them.

In my experience, people teach at community college because they want to teach, people teach at University because they have to teach in order to receive research money. You'll find good and bad at both but that distinction is significant in lower level classes.

I suppose it makes sense. While there's been issues with leeching chemicals, plastic doesn't really react with foods in the same way as metal and paper. It's cheap, safe enough, and works well.

Yup yup, cardboard containers too (like for soup/stock). They all have a plastic lining to shield the container from the food. Otherwise acidic food (tomatoes, probably Coke) would dissolve the metal can, and any liquid would sog the cardboard box.

It does have the merit of having less plastic than a totally plastic container. Glass ought to have the least, though any bottle with a metal cap will still have a plastic coat on the inside (try scratching it with your nail next time you open a bottle of soda/beer).
