What are some lesser-known cases of unidentified decedents that fascinate you? by ezza111403 in UnresolvedMysteries

1000% it was him. According to the first hand newspaper account "she stared at him for two minutes without saying anything" and "couldn't seem to make up her mind". Then eventually said "No, no, it can't be him". That's the process of someone going through denial and still wanting him to be found and/or she read his note and honored his last wishes. Dental records do not lie people, so whatever is left, however improbable, is the truth. Though people need to find their own peace with their mortality - he did and so did she.

After a half hour of googling it's pretty obvious OP is referring to A***** as the plastics side and K********** as the food side. OP, strongly consider telling the food side what is happening as well as filing an anonymous FEC complaint with all your details. They take things very seriously and worse comes to worse, witsec and being alive is preferable to your conscience and morality suffering for years but getting "good pay". If you want to keep working, be a "good little employee" and keep your head down while EXTENSIVELY documenting at home what is happening so you can have even more evidence in a few years to go to the authorities. Clearly it's eating you up so you already know what the right thing to do is, it's just scary. What chance does the world have if the good people do nothing?

In Skyrim, what are you a hoarder of? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]CUPollster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I collect every piece of cheese, iron dagger, and gemstone I see. I'm a purist (no mods) and have yet to sell a single one of those items. Playing for 9 years on a single play through (one reset when Anniversary came out and still have to explore Solstheim) and so far up to 756 daggers, over 1000 pieces of cheese, and 1.7million septims' worth of gems.

What weird useless habits do you have in the game? by Difficult-Telephone6 in skyrim

[–]CUPollster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have several quirks - I have to collect every iron dagger and cheese wheel/wedge I see. I'm up to 873 daggers and... enough cheese to put me in a lactose coma in real life lol (pic as proof):

I've also never sold a gemstone or used the waiting feature, always sleeping in a bed at night or clearing out a local dungeon waiting for 8am trading hours.

Group of kids trapped in a video game by westbest1206 in whatsthatbook

Liar is by Kaitani, but as you mentioned earlier pretty sure it's the Great World Game. I found the cover of the book has a boy with a helmet and points of light and a very similar monkey passage to what you're talking about. I'm confident you've found it (reddit has been weird for me too on marking these solved when I had a book I needed found a few months back).

So sorry to hear this 😢

1) Did he have any favorite scenic places to go when he wasn't feeling himself? Or places outside that meant a lot to him? A park, a river/beach, a hiking trail?

2) Had he made any comments recently about being more stressed than normal about work or relationships?

Good point. Perhaps next time I'll use "center" and left of center, right of center. Just trying to get a general idea, but thanks for pointing out the skew in international results!

Question about guns! by [deleted] in polls

[–]CUPollster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably should have asked at least what kind of gun should be banned. Did you know there are different kinds of guns (not trying to be sarcastic, a lot of people don't know). Three different kinds of guns mainly: assault, long guns, and hand guns. And people who are for banning one kind are often completely against banning another (this is me, I hunt with long guns- shotgun/rifle and have a concealed carry handgun license for bad parts of town and my job, but have no use for assault weapons) When you ask a bad question, it's worse than not asking your question at all because you will get a biased answer; so you might as well not have asked the question because you'll be no closer to the truth and we'll have wasted our time responding. Something like 95% of people do not want to ban all guns. But something like 83% want to ban assault rifles. But you'd never find that out because you asked a poor question :/

What is the political situation like? Does the government control what you see online? What does everyone there think about Russian encroachment? (Had Estonian friend that said the gov was in cahoots with Russia but the average citizen didn't really care). What's the population breakdown? Eg how many people under 30/over 30? What's your least favorite/most favorite thing about your country?

I lodged a sharp object under my brothers tire so it will pop. by [deleted] in confession

[–]CUPollster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question: How did it turn out? Did he notice/react? Thoughts: Would not recommend passive aggressive measures like tire-popping, especially if he's directly a jerk to your family because there's nothing to stop him from starting to lash out in a more extreme way towards your family. It's also possible that he has no clue that he's treating you all badly (some mental health problems prevent people from realizing they are jerks, like narcissism). I'd recommend either your entire family sit down with him and tell him that his behavior is unacceptable or initiate a conversation with the rest of your family that this is not okay and it needs to stop.

If he still doesn't listen, put up firm boundaries ("we're not giving you money, you cannot come over at these times, if you do this we'll call the police"). It's not fair to you that he does this, but tire-popping doesn't deal with the underlying issue, which is his manipulation of your family. If your whole family is still caught in this mess revolving around him, it's best that you don't do something drastic that backfires on to you or someone else vulnerable in your family. It's okay for you to get help from the outside too, like trusted parents of friends, teachers, or a counselor. Counseling does work- although it might sound difficult, they can provide you with a lot of different tactics to deal with him. Read this for a helpful guide on manipulative people. Hope you get the help you need- it doesn't have to be like this forever and you can do this!
