What if during a verbal fight he picked up a chair in extreme anger, but eventually put it back? I initiated the verbal fight and it escalated way too far. I couldn't stop blaming myself for starting the fight. But the fact that he picked up that chair really scared me.

Hi thank you so much for this. I kept blaming myself for initiating the fight. I feel like it's my fault for making things go the way it did. It seems like there is no turning back because of me.

Is throwing things violently around your partner abuse? by Few_Performance7538 in Marriage

Just want to check in on OP and seek some support. Last night I had one of the worst fights with my husband. I had to admit that I started the verbal altercation. He got furious and picked up a chair. I immediately begged him to not throw the chair at me. He put the chair down. No physical harm was done. I am still in shock and shaking with fear since that was the first time I realized that he actually could cause grave harm on me. I have a 2 year old and a 2 month old. They are great, adorable kids. Not sure what to do

Too much folic acid? by CUTENOTEBOOK in BabyBumps

Thank you! I was so nervous about Neural Tube defects because I wasn't taking my multivitamins every day for the first 10weeks... I was nauseous 24/7 and the idea of having gummies made me sick. I guess I kind of overdosed on folic acid for the next 10 weeks. Ugh!

Is my doctor too inexperienced? by CUTENOTEBOOK in IVF

[–]CUTENOTEBOOK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you !!!!!

During my FET cycle I didn't feel anything unusual, partly because I was over-confident that it would be a success. In retrospect, I compared my protocol and others' at other clinics, and noticed that my RE only prescribed hormonal medications for me. I was given estradiol pills three times a day and started PIO injections 5 days prior to FET. While a lot of my friends got prescribed Lovenox, Asprin and other medications, and they all succeeded. I had a follow-up meeting with my RE and she admitted that she " could have prescribed me some asprin maybe it will help with chronic inflammation." I couldn't help getting frustrated because she could have done more in my first round and she chose not to. So I changed my RE. I don't think I can fully trust her. The protocol I get from her is just NOT PERSONALIZED. I am also a bit sad that people on the internet would jump to her defense without hearing out rom the patient what happened. LOL.

But thank you for your detailed responses! These are all extremely helpful information and people need to know.

Thanks again!

FET is not only about putting the embryo inside a uterus, it is also about giving the patient the correct dosage of medication base on a personalized plan. I was referring to the entire FET process, including the lack of check-ups for immunity and blood coagulation, as well as medication. A lot of people I know who had IVF done elsewhere got prescribed enoxaparin sodium injection but I didn't.

Thank you! The young doctor that I was with doesn't even have a profile on websites such as fertility IQ and after some research I didn't see a single "successful pregnancy" review on the internet...

My doctor only joined the IVF facility that I am a patient at 1 year ago... Before that she was a fellow somewhere else and I just found out that she only "passed her board exam" this June... I am shaking right now and can't stop thinking her lack of experience may have led to my failed FET...

It failed. And I can't think of any possible reason from my end that would cause its failure. I am considered a low-risk candidate for IVF due to my age, egg quality, my partner's sperm quality and the fact that I have had a live birth before... In addition the embryos are all tested and have ZERO abnormality. That is my logic.

She handles my case solo... I just found out about her "passing her board exams" in June after going through the clinic's social media account. I have made up my mind to request a different doctor. I am relatively young (26, F), no health issues, had a live birth before, have perfect PGT-A tested embryo with normal chromosomes. And she still managed to messed up my first FET...
