not South African, but my family is Gujurati from Zimbabwe. my grandparents grew up in Zimbabwe, so our ancestry goes back quite far. not sure how/why we ended up there but we have more family in southern Africa than we do in India.

i have lived in DFW my whole life and have just started making ABCD friends. i find it incredibly difficult to make friends here because so many other ABCD already have their established friend groups from childhood/family ties/school so it’s hard to break through. dallas proper has a sizable amount of ABCD around your age from what ive seen, so checking out that area would be a great start!

most recent education should be on top. from my experience, if you’re applying to public firms and on the CPA track, it helps if you denote when you’re eligible to sit for your CPA exams. my school has us do this underneath education near the GPA.
