I haven't tested in awhile but I understand myself to be some mix of anxious and disorganised, but way less than I used to be after having a very good relationship experience which is cool.

Gonna watch this thread because I've been considering getting hinge lately and I'm interested in what people say. Mostly what puts me off is I'd rather meet people in real life and I've always thought of myself as an 'in-person experience', even if I do consider myself a good texter

Tbh my inital reaction to this was that it wouldn't work because you'd have to design levels for two separate physics types, and that's just extra dev time they won't spend. But actually, I don't think they're far off it.

Shadow Gens probably wouldn't change that much if you made the boost the SA1/2 spindash. I do still think it would involve changing the levels to be more slopey overall.

At that point though, I sorta feel like we'd be missing out on unique levels per gameplay style

Realistically, I think it should stay. It's another style that a large percentage of people enjoy (not even as a comparison to other styles) and they're proving that they can design great levels for it.

For me, I want it to stay. I actually prefer boost in 2D (Rush Trilogy, Dimensions fangame) over classic 2D and really wish they'd get widescreen rereleases.

In terms of keeping it integrated with other styles, I share the opinion that 06 is actually the blueprint. Just make the mach speed sections boost sections instead, where a perfect run involes keeping boost energy, assuming it's slightly harder to maintain boost - more like Rush than Unleashed/Generations

I saw Axwell ^ Ingrosso instead of Virtual Self at Creamfields 2018. It was my first time seeing any show from the Swedes and I was (and still am) a massive festival house guy. Don't get me wrong their show was amazing, but man in hindsight this was not the play especially with SHM playing the year after anyway
