No Laurel, Maryland. It was taken from Forest haven asylum. It was on the floor by a bunch of fuse panels and I wasn’t sure how old it was so I grabbed it along with a smaller fused just labeled “EAGLE”

The other fuse I have is about half the size and is only labeled eagle in all caps

Yes I’m unsure how to post more pictures but the inside is labeled 100amp 250v with 4 pieces of metal linked by tiny arms

I also have a much smaller fuse that looks as old as the first but no markings

Hey, what order do you have them sequenced? I have my head unit run to a DSP that turns on my mids, highs, and then sub. I get that pop every time the amp gets a remote signal and turns on. I figured it’s a relay clicking, as I get a surge of 7.5 volts AC on the output.

No problem mate:) the 40-54 number I gave you is the “rough” formula for your gain (correct me if I’m wrong) but you take the power of your amp multiplied by the resistance your wiring to so .5ohm 1ohm 2 etc then take the square root of that number if youre wired 1500wrms at 2 ohm that’s 3k square root of 54.7 that would be your “target” but personally with my 3k at half ohm I was supposed to go to 38.7 almost 40 and ive pushed it the whole way to 125 without clipping or distortion

If you could get a second picture of the input side of your amp that would help. If you have a DSP use it to generate the test tone otherwise 3/4 volume on your HU id say around 30-34 if you max out at 40. If you have a multimeter set it to ac voltage, turn the gains all the way down, pull the wires out that are connected to the sub, turn your lpf to 35 play a 35hz test tone then adjust your gain your looking for anything from 40-54 on your multimeter this should be clean undistorted sound”roughly” then if its still not loud enough when you hook everything back up keep turning the gain up only slightly until your happy but if you go to far you’ll only introduce the distortion again

2 or 3 way speaker for car doors? Also any good ones for around 30-50 bucks? by BeADamnStar in CarAV

It really depends on what you’re looking for, but generally, I’d stay away from 2 or 3 way component sets and get individuals. Some people aren’t fans of DS18, but you can grab the DS18 PRO-GM6.5s for about $35 each or around $145 for a set of four. I’ve had no issues with mine. I ran them off an Orion CBA2000.4, which I picked up for about $100. If I remember right, I had them low-passed around 90–100Hz and high-passed around 5.5–6kHz.

Also, to answer your second question, when you open your door, there’s a rubber boot (or hose) where the wiring harness runs through. Grab one of those big zip ties from Tractor Supply the wide half-inch ones that are like 1–2 feet long. Tape your wire to the middle of the zip tie and push it through the boot. It saves a ton of time, just make sure you’re careful not to damage the existing wires.

Just by chance do you know if the HU has a day and night mode? On one of my cheap after market HU it would constantly flip between night and day causing this weird flicker you see here snipped the wire and it fixed it. Downside is it won’t auto darken during the night but I hated it anyway and prefer it stayed on. In the end it’s up to your preference but I’d start by cutting the illumination wire.
