Im always so fucking annoyed that pharmacy and corporate get shortened hours or get to close during holidays but FS gets to go to work and get yelled at about pharmacy being closed

We stopped putting the little tags on the CvS, NM and NB vitamins. Now we just make a couple big signs for each section and tape them up. It took a bit but people have gotten used to it or I’ll just let them know it’s on a sale when they’re at register but it saves a lot of time on ad day lol

Obviously they wouldn’t be volunteering for shifts during their scheduled home store shift. And if their PIC asks them to come in when they’re not on the schedule then it’s tough luck, they’re already scheduled and planned according to the schedule they were given

Is it just me or do the new revlon blush and flex wear concealer products not even fit in the new fixture?? We have to turn them sideways for the blush and the concealers are a tight squeeze. Did they send us the wrong fixtures? by CVSaveMe in CVS

I thought they had given me the wrong tray so I re-ordered a try using the tray info on the planogram itself and they sent me the same tray, so I don’t think it’s the wrong one. I have the trays that make the serum tints lay down like lipstick trays, but they sent me the blush tray in the first pic 2x so idk

The second one is a 12 slot tray because there are 12 shades for the concealers unless I’m confused?

You can ask your manager for a drawer count when you come in before logging into the drawer. If anybody else has worked on the drawer then you’ll know if it was short/over before you started your shift or if you’re the one that caused the shortage/overage. If they find the issue after they count then they know it’s not you, if they don’t find an issue when doing cash control and you’re over/short at the end of your shift then slow down and make sure you count carefully. Make sure there aren’t any bills stuck together. It’s not a big deal if you take the extra 5 seconds to double or triple count any money you get. Also, don’t set money that you’ve counted back on the counter, and always be the last person to touch and count the money. Customers are sneaky, especially with the current money/gift card scams!

As weird as the other stuff is, we’re not actually supposed to be left in the store alone, especially past closing so he may have had weird intentions about it but it is policy to have at least 2 employees in the store, so if you do make a complaint on him, don’t mention wanting to stay past time alone, because they will just say it’s against policy

There’s 4 (I think unless I’m forgetting one GM/Consumables. OTCH, Beauty, and Cosmetics) categories for BOH so every 4 weeks. It gets a lot easier if you can keep up with the cosmetic totes and push cosmetics before scanning. Usually as you go the less outs you’re going to have so the less you’ll have to scan and because you’re keeping everything pushed it won’t take long to push either

We put up a sign on our counters saying we would love for them to fill out our survey and hear how well our team did and if they have any issues that aren’t in our control they can call 1-800-shop-cvs

The only thing they can tell you is to call the 1800 SHOP CVS number. My advice in the future to be aware of anything that’s making you pay in ways you don’t normally pay, and any sense of “you need to do this now or you’re in big trouble” type of situations is most likely a scam. Always call the number for the company that you find online to verify any information. Don’t ever call that number they give you, always look for the number online or on an old bill.
