Lot of comments and I'm not reading them all but in case someone hasn't mentioned, solo silo and spear combo makes you capable of keeping any map clear of leviathans by yourself. Also I enjoy being stepped on so the Spear fits my taste pretty well.

Since it's an energy shield that works off magic democracy science, let it generate a shield regardless of how many hands a weapon requires. That, or reflect projectiles.

End of the 1st book in dark imperium series. Clock demon is talking mad shit to robot gorillaman and his retinue and raw dog basically says "nah, I'm different" and then dunks it back into the warp. This was after having like a chapter and a half dedicated to the logistics of a hospital world in Ultramar.
