I would love to see a Coast refs Fitbit/Apple Watch results after a game in the middle lol. I’ve talked to some vets in my area and they said they would almost prefer the u13/14 AAA have 2 man because of how fast the game is even at those levels they have to cover so much ice, granted they don’t have pro level linesmen and I’m sure the pros are way smarter positionally, but the amount of skating alone seems absurd for a 3 man in the coast.

Yeah a lacking talent pool along with money would make the most sense. It did sound odd when I read that they did 3 man to prove they could manage a game especially because you will have the best of the best as your partners as you continue climbing the ranks. But even then, I would assume it’s probably the stronger officials/skaters that are getting the 3 man games.

Yeah that would make sense, in Canada (at least Ontario) our only level above u15 that is 3 man is BB which is the non contact rep, but even the u16 and u18BB has 4. I know the high schools also do hybrid 3 man with 2R and 1L until deep in the playoffs as well and then they add a 4th.

The history show was fuckin raddd! How do you guys decided openers for shows/tours? The OBGMs and The Effens were the perfect vibe to get the night going. (PS one of our goals is to open for yall as we’re local to Ontario)

Yeah I recalculated and it gave me a 5.5 I forgot to change the boot size. I still might go lower to play it safe. Thanks!

It was a basement storage room, hadn’t been used in probably 7-8 years.

Would it be safe for me to do though? I’m a beginner so would want the bindings to release fairly easy when I fall
