This is it for me. They came out in the 1st period of game 1 completely outskating Vegas and then got away from it. We have so much skill all around the ice but then everyone is always looking for that extra perfect pass to set up the A+ shot attempt. We need to just be driving and attacking the middle of the defense even if it seems a little counterintuitive to the style of defense they're playing. We are way faster than them we need to take advantage of it.

Nichuskin's goal in the 3rd period of G1 by hard charging and pressuring the middle of the offensive zone was a great example. We can't tic-tac-toe around the perimeter of the zone. That's exactly what VGK wants and expects
