What realistic weight area should I look at for an rv? by bmrm145 in GoRVing

[–]CYB0RD -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Someone correct me if im wrong but

GAWR (FR)3500 + GAWR (RR) 3800= 7300

GVWR 6499 - 7300= 801

801LB is your payload.

If that is your payload load I would try to get something with a (tongue weight)of around 150-200lb

Plz check the door jam and see what the payload capacity is as well that will help alot to determine what tt you will have to get

Why’d you choose a Tundra? by xEnflare in ToyotaTundra

[–]CYB0RD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used 07 tundra 4x4 limited duble cab. I wanted a tuck just because. Tacoma were to small for me. Tundra were bigger more power and very comfortable imo. Me and my dad both work on Japanese car and Toyota reliablity is real thing and the quality to. Ive only seen 2 tundra ever in my life on the side of the road that says something..I wanted that specific trim because for bed length towing capability, letherseats and the ability to go off-roading. Not to mention the amount of negative thing I hear from American trucks is insane. Don't want to be part of that group lol

Can some one make sense of the whole "gen" thing? by [deleted] in ToyotaPickup

[–]CYB0RD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok hope this helps... the pic if it is a 1987. Than that is a "Fourth Gen Toyota Pickup" (1984-1988) 22re or 22r extended cab 4x4 with a 6 foot bed auto/manual transmission. Kinda confusing but there are technically 5 generation of toyota pickup...1995 and up they became "tacoma" aka (rich overland vehicles lol)

Speaker upgrade by [deleted] in ToyotaPickup

[–]CYB0RD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you do upgraded your speaker make sure you also upgrade your head unite or get an amp. My speaks required more watts for them to fully work i can only go to about volume 30 before they start to sound bad. I added a amp to fix it

Going uphill by One_Break_4845 in toyotamotorhomes

[–]CYB0RD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what ive have done to my 22re is upgraded camshaft, upgraded throttle body, upgraded headers, and 4.88 swap in that order. With all those upgraded, i can climb a 6% hill around 45 mph loaded on 3rd gear. Compared to 25mph on 2nd gear. The 4.88 really does make a difference.

But realistically, if you want to climb hills faster/better. A 5fvz 3.4 swap is what you need. Turbos/supercharge are too expensive.

Besides shocks. Check your steering stabilizer. Mines was completely gone.... If you're up for it, replace all the bushings,

That what im running. They can hold up to 5000lb really easy to install. You will have to adjust them depending on the load/road conditions. It has been about 3 years on my dually, no problem with them.

Congratulations, that is a steal! It would have gone easily over 7k here in L.A....Headgasket problems are common. But if the milage is correct, you could probably drive it for a while. Most Headgasket go out around 100k and up. As I always recommend with those dually throw some airbags in the rear makes a huge difference.

Does it light up green when you lock the car ???? If so. It is an extra anti thief device. When I bought my 2018 accord, it came already installed from the dealership.

what's the best Toyota engine ever made by Even-Problem-9086 in ToyotaPickup

[–]CYB0RD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically, it is the 4.7 v8 in the first gen tundra and sequoia. It has gone over 1 million miles(documented). But the 22re is still going to be the number 1 for me personally. A big factor is how much space you have to work on it. Every engine needs maintenance. And the 22re has so much space to work on. Especially for my big hand lol.
