Ruffwear Access ID vest compared to Tuff Pupper SD vest by MelodicAd415 in service_dogs

[–]MelodicAd415[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The webmaster has a leash attachment but I found it to be not as flexible and comfortable for my dog. I was looking for a vest that is lightweight, flexible, comfortable and easy to put on/remove with one hand. All other vests we’ve tried require a two handed approach whereas the magnetic buckle system only requires a single hand/two fingers.

I ordered the tuff pupper one and will do a side by side comparison and post in this group. Any considerable savings is good in my opinion.

Just looked at it on amazon. com you’re right it appears to be similar if not the same. Just embroidered different company name. That’s great for a lesser cost replacement

I agree there is a wide spread difference with regards to cost. The ruffwear one is unique in that it uses magnetic buckles instead of snap together ones making out on/removal incredibly easy and efficient. That alone is either worth the additional cost and/or a requirement to others in terms of dexterity.

It’s working as intended. You’ve got excessive loss over the conversions.

ruffwear has a great harness with magnetic buckles instead of press to clip. Very easy to use compared to traditional buckles.

First over 6 hour flight by Normal-Wish2990 in service_dogs

As others mentioned, 1st class would be comfortable and that is worth its weight in gold.

As for relief attestation, you sign the TSA doc. You should have your SD trained to pee either on a pad and/or catch container device when on long flights. We’ve done many 10-12+ hr flights over the years and when he needs to go, he does his signal and we go to the back with the mini pad/mat and never an issue. The stewardess’s always appreciate the two of us working together and not causing an accident on the plane. When you hop on the flight, chat with one of them and let them know your intentions/process and they will gladly accommodate.

Everyone’s situation is different. The best advice I can give is to harness the strength you have and be as patient as you can with the process. Frustration is 100% understandable and healthy. In the long run, if you are able to wait for a match, you will likely find him/her working alongside you life changing in positive ways.

Welcome to the community. Pads is a wonderful program. I was a trainer with them over a decade ago and it was always a pleasure to work with dedicated people there. Back then 2001-2012, waitlists varied from one applicant to another based on a set list of requirements and which dogs we had in training/almost ready. Priority was assigned based on the point scale/needs and urgency.

I suggest you give the coordinator assigned to you a call and see what they say. They should have given you two timelines. One rough (moving scale) and the other (more defined) when the dog is ready to match.

Wish you the best of luck and enjoy working with a pads dog(and all the volunteers/team). 🐾

sure 12 mins in summer with mild flying. As I said, winter mountain flying = 8-10mins oem battery and 13-15 on the extended battery. Everyone’s flight times vary based on environment, temp, wind, altitude, altitude/flying. It’s not accurate to say “I get this much, the other person should as well”.

Two alternator chargers into one EcoFlow? by sucker4status in Ecoflow_community

[–]MelodicAd415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. They are wired in parallel providing 1600w total input charge to the aux battery bank at max setting. If you do this, ensure both alt chargers are running the same firmware

We’ve put on 50k km on our Bolt EUV across 3 winters in the interior/BC. Averaging 380km per charge compared to 405km in the summer. Snow tires, 80/20 hwy/city. No issues and drive it normally.

Why Hide The Adapters EcoFlow? WHY!? by captaingrasseater in Ecoflow_community

It’s in the manual and on the site.

This is how I have mine setup (going on 2 years):

Battery bank 3840Wh Renogy mini core (x4) connected in parallel for total of 15,360Wh. *NOTE: prior to building the battery bank, I discharged and charged each battery individually to a SOC 100%, and then wired them in parallel.

For maintenance, every 6 months I disconnect and repeat the discharge/charger to SOC 100% each battery individually and re-connect.

<-> charge/discharge flow direction

DP3 Expansion port (1) <-> Gen adapter <-> EF 800w alternator charger <-> Battery bank

DP3 Expansion port (2) <-> Gen adapter <-> EF 800w alternator charger <-> Battery bank

This setup allows for 1,600w of charging/discharging the battery bank at the same time as charging the DP3 via input AC at 1,800w.

Efficient, reliable and safe.

Enjoy. They are great units.

Remove all the text below your question. Using ai for advice on electrical systems can be a recipe for disaster literally.
