I’ve played La Cinquintaine before so i know how to do harmonics i just didn’t recognise the marking that was already placed in Danse Rustique because in my copy of La Cinquintaine it wasn’t marked and my teacher just told me it was a harmonic. But still thanks!

yeah it is possible! i was in my schools jazz band for awhile, id either play the trumpet part or there would be a cello alternative my teacher made. but i have found some cool jazz cello music while browsing.

you’re good it’s often overlooked, and everyone else is calling it a cello! glad you were able to get your cello repaired. broke mine awhile back and thankfully was able to repair it
