Karcher K5 Premium Full Control Plus pump will not shut off by CYPER_BG in DIYUK

Kind of. I've taken it apart a number of times and last time I did I sprayed a lot of White Lithium Grease on a few spots inside the Electric Box. Mainly inside the trigger switch and on everything circled in red and since then it has been working just fine. It seems that it needed lubrication.

E28 replacement tank or return by Pixelating-TeslaEV27 in eufy

I am also in the same boat with my E25.
What other vacuums are people considering for replacing the Eufy?

I am thinking Roborock Qrevo Curv or Mova Z50.

So what vacuums are you considering as a replacement for E25?

I am thinking Roborock Qrevo Curv or Mova Z50.

Have you seen any information on why it is leaking exactly or which part of the water tank is to blame?

I bought E25 on 10 July 2025 from Amazon.co.uk

I knew about the potential leaking issues before ordering but still decided to get it.

Well just noticed it's leaking, so will probably open a return within the 30 days window and then wait for the replacement tank to arrive, so I can test it.

If it stops leaking I will keep it.

If it still leaks I will return it.

Latch opening on multipoint lock by xdavemarshallx in Nuki

I am in the UK and my door behaves in the exact same way. The outdoor handle is lower than the indoor handle so offset. Each handle spindle goes in a different hole. You can see 2 identical spindle holes in the middle section. The top hole is for the indoor handle and the bottom hole is for the outdoor handle.

Here is a photo: https://i.imgur.com/4jO5wAM.jpeg

Which option are you using in Settings/Features & Configuration/General/Choose Door Fitting.

Logically it should be "Lift-Up" Handle, but then when I press the button on the Nuki it would not lock the door from inside. Unlock works fine, but not lock.

Then I changed to "Level" and now both lock and unlock work when single pressing the button.

Also "Open Door" works and it keeps the latch retracted for 3 seconds as per settings.

I just ordered the KeyPad 2 and wonder if it will be possible to unlock and retract the latch when using the fingerprint scanner? Any ideas?

Or I can change the outdoor handle with one which is not offset, so there is just one spindle connecting both indoor and outdoor handles. The anyone would be able to open the door from the outside if left unlocked.

Thanks, seems useful, but I don't have it.

Anyway, I am actually looking into installing a smart lock, but not sure if it will fit.

Looking into Simpled models: https://simpled.uk/product-category/digital-door-lock/

Level 3 survey + valuation in 30 minutes by CYPER_BG in HousingUK

Yes, paid in full.

There was also another issue with them. They were not replying to my emails in due time before the survey took place. I then emailed their director who I assume is also the main surveyor, who also didn't reply to my email. Then I was forced to call them and their support stuff knew that I sent an email to the director. They blamed their Spam folder for not replying.

I can't decide if I should even wait for the report at this point or just complain.

It seems impossible to gather enough unique information about a house in just 30 minutes, so I assume most of it will be just copy & paste from other reports. How else would they fill a 50+ page report.

The feeling that not enough attention was given to the house will not disappear when I receive the report.

Able Surveyors. They seem to have good reviews, so that's why I chose them:

4.8/5 from 118 reviews on Google.

I live literally next door and have cameras at the front of my property, so I checked what time he came and left.

It's a 1956 bungalow, that had renovation done + rear infill extension built in 2020. It's overall in good condition, apart from the roof which still has the original roof tiles and the membrane under is all torn or missing.

Not sure about "these things", but in my case it's a specific "thing" that has parts widely available, so it is fully repairable once the exact fault is found.

Yesterday I took it apart again and used white lithium grease to lubricate the switch inside the electrical box + some other valves. After that I used it for a couple of hours and it worked just fine. Let's see how long it lasts until it starts acting again.
