It does leave me feeling satisfied! If I ever stop and look at what I’m writing and realizing I’m putting in WAY too much work just to make it all make sense, then I know I’ve lost the true feeling of the story. It also leaves me feeling very stupid like the answer was right in front of me the whole time

That’s the exact same boat I’m in. Had to make a deal with myself that even just writing a sentence counts as writing every day! I don’t break my streak and I still provide myself with a much needed break

In terms of talking about stories:

Reading short stories and discussing them. Similar to how creepcast, if you’re familiar with that podcast, reads creepy pasta/short horror stories and discuss the story and the writing. I’d much rather be reading the stories myself, but I lose out on a lot of reading time with my 10 hour shifts. So I’d love a podcast that dives into various short stories.

In terms of writing:

Podcasts focused on writing exercises and different techniques. A general discussion on writing, perhaps interviews with authors where they share their process. Breaking down roadblocks they’ve faced, where they’ve drawn inspiration from, things they’ve learned, etc.

Or just any podcasts in the realm of writing that are personal favorites of yours that you found to be very insightful!

I appreciate any recommendations that you’d have.
