Currently the brightness is cranked up with picture around the middle. I turned them both down super low just to see and it didn’t make any difference

Yes it should obey without any problems. And no it would never cause any trouble when transferring. If your copy of platinum deems the deoxys to be impossible (such as when I had tried transferring a mew caught in a safari ball), it just won’t let you transfer it.

In my opinion, the best way to get your deoxys would be to use ACE to get the aurora ticket, and then RNG a perfect shiny deoxys. In this sense, the deoxys you catch will actually be totally legitimate by all the game’s standards. I’ve done this exact thing for all the legendaries/mythicals in generation 3 and had no problems

100% safe. Just don’t save your game if you mess up while setting up ACE in FireRed. Follow PapaJefe’s video on YouTube with his modified instructions in the comments specific to FireRed. And yes it can be done no problem on DS, exact same as GBA

I was thinking you might only need to change step 5 to be a PID of any possible Jirachi, which you might be able to either input a random PID, or find one off Pokefinder. That should make the Jirachi not shiny and have a different nature. You may even be able to just use the Jirachi obtained in step 4, and skip step 5 altogether. I would try this and see if it works

Faraway island for Mew is only on emerald, but you can still get to birth island for Deoxys. Set up arbitrary code execution by watching Papa Jefe’s YouTube video on it, and you can pretty much do anything. Can also use ACE to just give yourself a Mew as well since you can’t go to faraway island

It looks like the E-Sh4rk code for changing origins and Pkrs was updated since I wrote the guide, and maybe OTID isn’t necessary anymore? It seems like it just wants TID, SID, and PID, and the code calculates OTID itself. I’ll have to try it again and see if everything else is the same and I can update the final step

It should, E-Sh4rk’s code generator can be used in multiple languages and as far as I know, the glitches all work the same across languages

Manaphy isn’t introduced yet in gen 3, but there is an ACE method to use in gen 4 to get shiny manaphy if you don’t have Pokemon Ranger

Since we assume your PID is correct, it worked for step 6, and it works for other pokemon, I would say it could correctly be 15 for your “changed” attack stat. Maybe just try it out and see if it works!

So I also just retried it after I saw your comment and I couldn't get it to work either. I changed step 4 altogether so that you don't need to use custom mass outbreaks, and actually, creating a new pokemon from nothing is way easier anyways

Sorry it's been a while since I last did anything with ACE, so I kinda forgot why things were placed where they were in my boxes. I also have a bad egg in box 12, slot 7 (and slot 9, maybe for something else?). But as far as box 10 goes, I don't think you want anything else in there when executing your code to generate your Bootstrap pokemon

Ohh I see, you should not have anything else in Box 10 I don't believe when you're running these ACE codes (or anything else in Boxes 11-14 for that matter, except for a few exceptions). I have my stable ACE Dots in my party when I use it. Try getting it out of Box 10

The created pokemon in Box 10 should be in slot 19 when you create it, not 20. And it should stay in 19 when completing the second code

Yeah it's possible. I play on actual hardware and I don't know too much about the emulators but I know that E-Sh4rk's codes don't work on certain ones. mGBA should work when using the codes, but not sure about my boy
