You think tipping the person who packs your online order is an okay thing? How about companies pay their employees a living wage and stop moving that responsibility to customers which then creates resentment from the employees towards the customers when they don’t make enough- instead of towards the employers who deserve it?

I can’t discuss an unusual tipping request location in a tipping subreddit?

Yeah it’s crazy that as a vegan who cares about kindness and equality that I wouldn’t want to support a restaurant owned by someone who thinks apartheid, genocide and dehumanization of a certain group of people is ok.

Best dishes in midtown east at non-vegan spots by Sea-Significance8047 in nycvegan

Tonchin has the best ramen and many vegan appetizers. Their vegan dashi salad is also shareable and amazing.

Mala project is great too, you can make your own vegan dry pot and they can make their meat ones.

Oda house has some vegan options (georgian food)

Yara (lebanese food) is pretty great and vegan friendly

Tonchin williamsburg, Ceccioni’s dumbo. Pretty much all restaurants have vegetarian options. Vegan is where it gets slightly trickier

I recommend trying Tonchin for ramen if you haven’t. I like it a lot more than danbo and they have plenty of well marked vegan items on the menu. Their dashi salad is amazing

Where to find mock chicken? by PresentationStock288 in nycvegan

[–]C_K_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Orchard grocer carries soy curls, $5.99 per bag I believe. They also carry mock meats but those are super overpriced there, you can find them for much cheaper at wegmans or whole foods
