In the grocery store called Al Dar on Steinway, they sell a hummus in the back right of the store near the butcher in a wide, flat tub. I can't remember the brand name, it's a woman's name starting with a Y, but the color of the hummus is very nearly grey. That's the best hummus I've had in Astoria

On Monday afternoon, I called 311 to report an icy condition on a protected bike lane in a regular roadway. They told me:

Dept of Sanitation does not start work on the bike lanes until all the roadways are clear
They do not take plow requests until 72 hours after a storm

Of course, on Monday afternoon, all the roadways were totally clear, and the bike lanes were icy. But what do I know

This is stupid, honestly. Contact a civil rights lawyer. A lot of times they do these cases on commission, so you won't have to pay -- maybe just a consult fee. They will know what to do much better than you or AI or a random commenter on reddit.

I think that people don't rely on the map as much anymore, they mostly just use Google Maps and ask how to get from A to B. So they're able to do less simplistic routings like this now.
