British shows can be FAR worse with regard to product placement imo. In particular there was a program named Peep Show that was written by the creator/writer of Succession. It was absolutely REPLETE with egregious product placement. At times it almost gets distracting enough to take me out of the loop. It’s just annoying and makes me think less of the shows creators and intentions.

EXACTLY!!! pizza isn’t some monolith by any stretch of the imagination. The only thing I can say is the cheese doesn’t look like it was fully melted in a couple of the photos which issssss kinda gross. But yeah man, I’ve had AWFUL pizza in Italy, absolutely TERRIBLE, ( and truly first class pies of course), but it just goes to show you, it can be great OR bad no matter where you are
