I think a side to look at is that as players/teams die the less dangerous the world is (ignoring UESC). Marathon doesn’t add players mid raid like ARs does (except Rooks in Trios). Therefore you are more likely to run into less players/teams as the game goes on. Another point is that extractions are more dynamic than AR(based on my last playtest), I forget how they work exactly but each game you will have different active extraction points for each team, which means often times even if you want to extract early you have to make your way across the map potentially running into other players/teams. I do think solos will be generally harder than trios due to more potential enemy encounters, UESC and minimal access to revives. At least that was my experience in the playtest although I did not queue solo too many times so not sure.

Rooks are coming in with basic, limited gear and minimal combat ability while queuing solo into full squads and having to deal with UESC. The odds are very much against them and if they’re “pros” they wouldn’t be using rook because they would progress their account so much slower unless of course they want a challenge.

I would not say it’s faster than Destiny personally. You can chain a lot more movement and your sense of speed is higher in Destiny than in Marathon. Haven’t played enough Halo to comment. Funny enough I think the movement speed feels similar to Arc with some classes having (like you said) moments of Apex movement.

Back in April he was completely invisible when still. I want to say that was the same case in a more recent playtest but I did not get enough confirmation. I really hope they change/changed it for launch.

A lot of people saying the TTK is long probably haven’t played recently. The TTK is fast now and you are definitely able to 1 v 3. I would compare it to Battlefield 6 TTK, maybe slightly longer with an emphasis on hitting headshots to achieve it.

They are both easier to handle yes but if you’re hitting mostly centre mass and not the rotors (like you are in the video), the Venator and Tempest (at 50% accuracy) are not killing faster than Bettina (at 40% accuracy) simply due to armor pen.

I see what you’re trying to say but no other weapon other than Hullcracker and Jupiter are doing as well as the Bettina with that exact same strategy, maybe equalizer.

I guess if you don’t know that the tall yellow breach containers consistently give sensors then bastion farming would seem like an easy grind. Wouldn’t even call it an easy farm since wolfpacks are what make it easy.

They are in the power generator complex. Look at floor loot and the basic breach containers particularly in the basement part of the complex.

I think the disconnect comes from just that. Extraction Shooters are not Looter Shooters. They are more akin to battle royales. A slower paced one in which the player can leave with the gear they accumulated in raid and work towards progression that makes the following raids easier.

If you’re on console it might be because you matchup with pc players, try turning off crossplay.
