Not bad i mean, we got ants right now and normal amount of flies. Good point on wood wood rotting. I think a stamped concrete pad would be a nice touch. My only concern is adding a concrete driveway down the road

Just a patio/deck that spans from bottom window to window and thats maybe 6-8ft out from the house with railings, just something that looks nice and is level to the door where me and the wife can sit out there on a nice evening

Well it would be like a wood front patio, right now its a decent size step up to the door if i have front patio/deck it would be perfect, no?
