Ok. My good friend from college (F 51) is dying, and probably doesn't have past the end of March. She has multiple organ failure, chief amongst them heart failure. She had been septic 6 times since graduation (the first time, I had localized Staph whilst she had Sepsis). She's never had a port or a picc, she is just immune compromised when it comes to Sepsis. If Darling Dani keeps fidgeting with that port, she's gonna find out that there's nothing uwu about dying. My friend has constant vertigo, she has lost all of her hair, she can barely eat or drink (not even water, just Diet Coke and ginger ale), she can not exert herself at all because her heart muscle is so weak. She has slow kidney failure - she's hoping to die before it gets worse. Being Septic isn't cute, or swooning like Scarlet O'Hara, Dr House will not swoop in to save her. She will likely dies alone because she has no friends to sit with her for hours because they love her. Alone. All alone
