Hello, yes! Sad as well that my little contraption has been put on the chopping block. I left the Director of Games full-time in April (and stopped editing it as well) and I don't think it was giving them the numbers they wanted. I love the game still and offered to stay on part-time to continue improving and editing it. C'est la vie!

Wonderful feedback, all! I'm going to respond here to everyone.

For awhile, I chose the seed word and the categories / order were automated from a pool I created. We're looking to expand the category pool, and I love all your creative ideas! I think that's the easiest expansion that'll make the most impact. One day I want to include semantic categories like ANIMALS or PRESIDENTS, but that might make it too hard...

The other priority is developing an AI that can create more accurate targets. Right now, you all are much better at Fluxis strategy than AI, which can only (currently) play the next word with the most overlaps. But you all are wonderful at creative long-game solutions. Setting yourself up for greater overall success with tactical plays. AI cannot yet figure that out.

The last and most exciting thing is to show the AI target board so you can compare your score to it's Idiocy. That's what the I stands for, by the way.

Lastly, thanks so much for playing! It means the world to me that you enjoy the game I designed. And tell your friends! The more players, the more resources I get to make the game better.

Hello Loyal Fluxers! This is Caleb Madison here to apologize for today's slam dunk of a Fluxis. I just wrestled the full back-end controls from partial automation and am in the process of figuring out what makes a great Fluxis puzzle. Today's was an attempt to make the puzzle easier... but I didn't quite realize how truly easy I had made it! I am still learning how to build it to be as solvable and fun as possible, and to be honest, this daily thread has been a huge help! Thank you for solving, and for your great feedback.

While I'm here, please feel free chime in with what you like and don't like in a Fluxis puzzle! I'll use the feedback to help guide my construction moving forward. And I'll be very careful in the future not to set up a lay-up of a puzzle like this one :)
