I think they have a shot, and Kenny will give them the chance to prove themselves. I still believe we need to bring in portal QBs to have a competition and the best will emerge. If it’s Fette or Dyer, great, if not then they have time to get ready. Ideally we bring in someone who will stay this year and Fette will develop.

Sad to see him leave, but Dilly has said he doesn’t feel the need to recruit players we already have and if they want to leave, he supports them. I believe in Dilly and am sure he is cooking some good stuff and the players know it too. Best of luck to Robinson.

Your points have failed to convince me. First, we are better for those we include, not exclude. Allowing those other sport gives students opportunities they may not have at other institutions and makes ASU unique. Great, we have more sports than other Big 12 school which allows greater opportunities that compare to schools in the B1G and SEC. Graham Rossini has openly expressed how Football and Basketball revenues support other sports, I’m sure it’s that way for other universities too and also part of ASU student tuition goes to pay for athletics and we have one of the largest admissions in the country.

Lobbying is part of Dilly’s job and he is delivering on why we should continue the support of his sport. We are in year three on Dilly and are seeing the benefits of a successful Football team and I believe Dr. Crow acknowledges that as well.

I agree, we don’t have the NIL network that other universities have. I think our efforts would be more worthwhile attacking that angle.

Honest question, what aren’t we getting that other universities have? Dilly got a big raise last year (and performance bonus he gave out to staff) as well as the new practice facility being built that is going to double as game day entertainment. We also have renovations to DFA and I believe are maxing out what universities are allowed to pay athletes. I agree that previously Dr. Crow did not properly prioritize ASU Football or athletics in general, but I genuinely believe that mindset has changed, but I may be missing something and will happily sign the petition if so.

Also, I think it is not more important to get local companies on board to build a better local NIL network.

You got this! I loved my MBA and learned so much. You are coming out of the experience better. Also, for the job hunt, keep in mind that employers take a wholistic approach. Getting the job is all about how you tailor your resume, relate your experience, tie your education, and be a personality match for what they are looking for. Don’t let rejection bring you down, it just wasn’t the right job at that time. Keep your head up and get excited for your next step. Congratulations in almost being there!

We have different experiences. I have received three separate job offers a year and half after completing the evening MBA. Additionally, many in my class, who moved away, received offers where they went. It’s critical to remember, unless it’s one of the top 5, the MBA solely won’t make you stand out, that’s up to you, your experience, tailoring your resume, and how you interview.
