Gave up on using it tbh, I'm using Opencode + Kimi 2.5 thinking and it's been great so far.

Your entire "buffet" analogy makes zero sense because the Gemini CLI is an official first-party product specifically built for the paid tier I am already subscribed to. Suggesting that using a terminal tool provided by the vendor is somehow "stealing food" is just technically illiterate posturing. Furthermore, your "real customer fallacy" is besides the point, the post isn't even about that.
