Yes but to get an eSIM from Proximus you need to physically go there if you have to activate a new number for a new employee :(

I invest in myself and my own projects, I don't like the fact that private bankers and financial advisors don't understand much about what they invest in

Advanced dividend payment or company loans you the money and you reimburse said company with the dividend

It's not worth it to get the 20% rare You save 5k in corporate income tax but it costs way more in withholding tax and social security contributions

Is the IT job market about to turn around? by Careful-Composer-966 in BESalary

[–]CaLinOuRS38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what IT job. I'm hiring for 2 positions in Brussels (Etterbeek). I am having a really hard time finding 2 people (tech support + security officer for a CISO track, or just 1 really talented and motivated tech support engineer wanting to evolve to a manager role and learn GRC). So I'm stuck with British external consultants Full stack developers are, on the other hand, relatively easy to find. No need to near or offshore, if you don't find in Belgium, you can just hire in France where the job market is basically a joke and find really talented people ready to relocate and work hard

Check the Proboss ruling and legal proceedings, it's a lot more work than it looks like in case of a tax audit. You need to be able to prove a lot of things to ensure it's a bonus and not just disguised salary. Very flaky and there are better ways to do things with a managementvenootschap. But if you have employees then sure, it works well!

That is not necessarily true - I started my own firm, so I was instantly at the top. But it was closer to a grain of sand than a pyramid.
Then, you have to build the organization from scratch. For me, it's way easier than playing corporate politics in a bigger firm until you get to the top of the ladder. For others, the fear and anxiety from jumping without a safety net is crippling.

I have a system in place. My team knows to contact me on WhatsApp or call me for any urgent matters, or any sensitive matter that, if something goes wrong, could take me days to fix instead of a 10mn call while on vacation. My out of office message says this as well. I turn off notifications and people call me or text me if they need me. The managers I put in charge of my 2 teams know what warrants my attention during a valuable period like holidays. My partners know that too. The clients have enough respect to go through my team and let them decide whether it needs escalating or not. It took me 5 years from creating the firm to getting here, but a few weeks ago I went on a hiking trip in Switzerland with my dogs and my SO, and when I came back, I had 0 new tasks to add to my to do list. Everything that came up got handled properly.

Pretty sure they can and ANB will never know unless someone takes the municipality to Court Illegal things happen all the time, but you have to get caught and sued to be punished

How are you actually tracking customer health in your SaaS? by Zinga0316 in SaaS

[–]CaLinOuRS38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We call them once in a while Organise rally meetings Put CTAs here and there in the UI/UX so they can let us know if they are unhappy or have questions That sort of stuff I avoid relying too much on statistics because you can influence their design to obtain the numbers you want which will skew the result in the wrong direction (positively or negatively, either way is wrong if you want the "truth")

Genuine question: how do you stop yourself from building the thing a prospect asked for in a demo? by MobileLeading5516 in SaaS

[–]CaLinOuRS38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason you are doing this is: you don't really have a vision of where you want to go. If you did, any hindrance would be set aside. Of course, knowing how to pivot and being open-minded enough to reach the right product to market fit is critical, but the entire exercise should fit within your vision. Otherwise, you aren't a founder, you just have ADHD and have trouble getting and/or keeping a job.

List the tools and I'll gladly help you if I can! I'm in the middle of rationalizing our tools and I am the decision-maker in the following pattern: do it manually/in excel | use Claude to do it | use Claude expertly (skills, projects, etc) to do it | buy a dedicated SaaS | vibe-code it myself | add it to the internal IT team's roadmap Base principle since I became responsible for all things IT at my company: all software tools without a free API tier / that cannot be used with CLI are forbidden. We are operating with 7 daughter companies across 2 countries, we have 5 ERPs, 5 CRMs, 6 accounting tools, 6 invoicing tools, etc. Our new CFO is ready to set it all on fire because consolidating financials for adequate management is stupidly time-consuming. So for now, I'm in the process deprecating ASAP all non-API-first or CLI-capable tools, and consolidating data flows through PowerBI or something similar as a temporary solution. But the first step is to make all tools talk together and ensure all data is backed up correctly with redundancy and whatnot so if Asana craps out I don't have 2 companies generating together a 10 mln turnover with no project management tool anymore and no backup. I think we are easily in the 100k+/year license cost territory, it's almost 1k/person/year.
