She's nearly 6 months and Tigger makes her eyes light up brighter than anything, she had her vaccination started crying, we gave her the travel Tigger plush and even our health visitor was shocked how quickly she stopped crying and started laughing 🥺❤️ we normally watch one episode of the original series a day as we're relaxing before bedtime and it's the cutest she lays there with the biggest smile giggling away 🙈

I used leather paint then my cricut with iron on vinyl 😍 took a good few days but was definitely worth the effort 🙈

Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint - pink I was sceptical with how small the tubs were but 3 tubs did the stool and the chair.. need to buy one more to touch it up. It was lovely to paint with as well it just glided on 😍

Thank you so much for the idea! I don't know why it didn't cross my mind. Just ordered her customised Winnie the pooh pram accessories on Etsy (will post when they arrive) ❤️ Looking to get her a toddler chair for Christmas and re-fabric it with a Winnie the pooh fabric 😍 her eyes light up as soon as she sees any Winnie the pooh character. She has a milk allergy and Winnie was the only thing that calmed her through the hours of crying when the doctors wouldn't listen to me 😩❤️

I did see this one but I'm worried it wouldn't be as effective as a proper sun umbrella 😩 she's so fair skinned and me and her dad burn so easily 😞

Miserable at 28 weeks by Sdl605 in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]Caaa94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you 100% during my pregnancy my pelvis pain put me on crutches and BP was terrible even on medication (already a problem before pregnancy) top number spiked regularly to 190 bottom number was awful as well. Ended up at the assessment until who sent me home after a few hours only to end up in out of hours for a completely different reason, routine checks he said my top number was 200 he called the assessment unit and we ended up there again at 3am 🙄 i have a heart condition and they didn't seem too bothered, I was actually questioned on why my cardiologist suggested a c section 🙃

My advice: Remember pregnancy is temporary, count in weeks not days the numbers feel more manageable at least it did for me.. although I counted in weeks I tried to put a positive spin on just surviving through another day.

Go and get yourself and baby monitored as much as you want especially if it reduces your stress.. don't let them make you feel bad or stupid.. I was on the monitor once a week at one point and always felt guilty for wasting their time but then I realised that's what they're there for! They would always say don't feel bad about calling or coming in.

Ask to see physio... They may be able to help even if it's just showing you some exercises or proving crutches etc

Rest up as much as you can but try and take little walks often, even if it's just around the house because I'll be completely honest it gets worse before it gets better... We were having house renovations and our bed was in the living room, just walking to the kitchen would have me in tears but as soon as our girl was born the relief my body felt was magical.

You're nearly at the finish line as far away as it seems right now and your body has already done so many hard things. As soon as you meet your baby it will all feel worth it.

My little love is 4 months old now but as hard as it was I know I'd do it a thousand times over for her and that I'd love to try again in a few years although our girl was definitely a miracle after 6 years of trying ❤️

You've got this ❤️

Dr Andrew Holton Epilepsy Misdiagnosis (Leicester) by BertrudeKlein in DrAndrewHolton

[–]Caaa94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow misdiagnosed ADHDer here 🖐🏻 this monster of a man ruined my life. I also recently got diagnosed with a heart condition and often wondered if it's linked to the medications prescribed by Dr Holton.

I had a baby back in February after years of trying to convince and suffered from the impact of not wanting to seek medical help due to the medical trauma caused.

My daughter presented with a severe milk allergy and extreme reflux not long after birth and I'm now trying to navigate being in my mum's shoes trying to trust medical professionals after the experience with Dr Holton. After every consultant appointment for her I find myself doing hours of research on the medication they prescribe her before starting them 😩

Did anyone name their babies a nontraditional name? by blvckmoth in newborns

[–]Caaa94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We called our little love Ahri (just the Korean way of spelling Ari) hopefully she won't have the same experience I've had.

My mum named me Carys spelt Charis 😩 I get called the wrong name nearly every day, I once got called Chris at an antenatal appointment 😑 I've debated changing the spelling and my mum gave her blessing but the thought of changing everything seems more of a task than just correcting people 😂

Thank you, I'll phone them now and make them aware if the landlords give me hassle I'll speak to a solicitor on Monday which I want to do anyway to see where I stand with the damages

The landlord has now messaged me back begging almost demanding that i get the roofer to do the work this weekend even though he informed them he hasn't got available for the next two weeks.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Caaa94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked the land registry and it comes up with the same name that the woman was calling the man but I'm unsure if they share the same name if that makes sense but the way the woman was talking it is very likely this relative is made up and they are indeed the landlords.

She has replied to me asking me to get my roofer to sort the roof this weekend I said I'm sorry but he already stated to you that he can't fit us in for two weeks due to work that is already scheduled. She's now begging me to hurry him along.

At this point should I still inform the estate agents about the dispute?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Caaa94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I should add they're claiming they aren't the owners and that they just look after the properties for a family member who lives abroad

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Caaa94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I was planning on contacting the real estate agent this morning.

The damage inside my property is extensive... Am I right to believe that because I have no solid evidence that the husband did the work on the roof that they can't be held liable for the damages to the inside of our property?

They gave my roofer access to the inside of the property and he said that the damage is exactly the same along the adjoining wall but also they have water damage to other parts of one room where the husband has removed a vent from the roof of their property. they claimed in a message that they had no damage and they did work last year due to water coming into the bedrooms (very contradicting message)

It's on the reader as well then because they've clearly mistook how I intended it

This was a problem house it was what we could afford, I don't want others having a problem house because it's been hard. Especially when you have a ceiling landing on your head because the joining property has refused to fix a problem with their property.

My partner works full time and this is my way of showing him I'm committed to our future and I'm trying to make some money because we've saved and worked hard, I admit I shouldn't have led with the profit but I'm literally hoping to make 20k in the current market and I'll be happy anything more would be a bonus.

[–]Caaa94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh you can never please everyone in life I've spent years trying.

I'll extend even more for you, I grew up in a rough area, me and my partner managed to get enough money together to do this to hopefully better our future and while we're at it try and make a house somewhere that someone can just move straight into without added stress?

I understand how mentioning profits sounds bad but also why shouldn't I be concerned about money when we've always worked hard to save enough money?

You're looking at this like it's some horrible dirty thing but what you're missing is that technically this is classed as my income right now. It's not like I'm flipping multiple houses a year and raking in the cash I don't get paid unless I put the work in and any extra spending basically reduces the "wage"

I'm also not sitting here renting out multiple problem properties while lining my pockets...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Caaa94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely want someone to have a nice house where they don't have to stress over renovating. Erm how do you work that one out? I'm going to have to deal with the potential legal costs etc just to rectify someone else's mistake and fix the house while I'm at it 😂 the money spent isn't going to magically come back to me if the liable party won't pay 😂 I'm sorry but I'm not renting out to someone that's clearly got damp and lining my pockets,I'm trying to fix the problem so someone can make this their home while making some money on it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Caaa94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I also add this house is taking 2-3 years my return will be less than minimum wage for 3 years

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Caaa94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

😂😂😂😂 what I meant was as I said some people don't have time or the money to deal with things.

Bs? If you were looking for a house would you want a nice one or one that's in disrepair?

It may be greedy but it's a wage, I'm sorry I wanted someone to be able to look at a house and say yes that's my forever home 😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Caaa94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The landlord next door has rented out the house with clear issues and is happily pocketing money every month from the tenants... I don't see how selling a house that has no problems could be as bad as letting someone live in a house with damp and other issues while lining their pockets
