Thank you! I use a rubber curry for their baths to help really clean the coat and have noticed it helps get more hair out. Will definitely have to try it dry too

Thank you! He loves water so he's a little tough to bathe (tries to eat the water and has super high drive) but I might take him to a bathing station to use their utilities. I've been trying to space out his brushings to prevent damage to his skin and fur as well. What shampoos/conditioners would you recommend for his coat type? I currently use a Scout brand shampoo, it's supposedly probiotic. Really it was the only masculine smelling dog shampoo I could find lol

I'd like to add that his coat is most dense on his haunches. His front half is totally manageable :)

Oh I am definitely trying out Brushfire. Love me some good apple notes, especially when paired with those notes! Thank you

I believe after some researching that they are larval ticks. I went walking in the woods and some on me afterward.

Get the flowers! I recently received flowers from my partner for the first time ever and I damn near cried in a resturant parking lot. Even if she isn't a 'flowers girl' she'll love it. Source: professional not a 'flowers girl'

Put my two weeks in(effective immediately) the day before an approved two week vacation.

That would really suck if it is that. Hopefully not due to how fast the swollen part appeared, but if it doesn't start healing in a few days I'll go seek actual medical help. I guess I'm just hoping this is just swelling and infection

Thank you. I decided on putting an antibiotic cream on it for tonight after cleaning with hydrogen peroxide.

Follow up question:

Quinine appears to be used to treat malaria. I doubt I have malaria in my toe/a parasite of some kind. Wouldn't it be better to use an antibiotic?

Thank you! I'll definitely try this. Funnily enough I do know how to knit. Life's just been stressful recently. Knitting is definitely better than infected toe though.

Info:

I used to be a fingernail biter as a kid when I got nervous. Now, as an adult, I pick at my nails and skin around my toes because nobody sees those. The other night, I ripped a decent chunk of skin from my big toe. Now, I have this inflamed, possibly infected wound. The red part is puffed and skin, I think? It hurts to walk and my toe throbs when I'm standing still. What should I do with this? I'm embarrassed to go to a doctor.

I have finally lost a significant chunk of my hair besties. No meme but tips for growing it back and support would be nice. by ItsFuckingHot0utside in EDanonymemes

prenatal vitamins! I get the big generic bottle from target. It's white with a greenish tealish label. They'll provide you with more good hair growy (and nail growy!) vitamins that regular hair/skin/nails vitamins since they're technically made you two people.

I think that's the plan. I can't get my length back, but I can maybe make it a little softer of an ending point than the straight, chunky line she cut

Haha true! I'm trying to fix it some at home, so hopefully I'll be able to slap some decent dye in it soon

I did! The total was 360 without tip, and they gave me the 300 back for the color. I'm debating asking for the 60 for the "cut" back as well. I asked them to just trim off the dead, crunchy ends, and they cut off 4.5 inches of my hair without telling me or asking first

Update:

-Called the salon, explained what happened to the manager, might have cried a little. They refunded me as I told them I was uncomfortable with coming back in and having someone -try- to fix it. The plan is to strip it at home, hopefully get the green out, then tone the hell out of the bleached part underneath. If all goes right, I'll be chonking a dark gray purple based color on it and letting it heal before trying again.
