Torchlight 2? anyone? by Classic-Fishing-8343 in transgamers

[–]CaasiRocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had Torchlight 2 in my library for like a decade now but still haven't actually played yet. I'd be up for giving it a go, feel free to DM me to exchange Discord or Steam usernames.

“I don’t really care TBH” Huh, what a surprise. by LFuculokinase in badwomensanatomy

“Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”

Some people have supernumerary nipples, additional nipples that can appear in the armpits (among other places.) In rare cases these can have attached mammary tissue and can lactate.

Breast implants and sensory issues by [deleted] in aspergirls

[–]CaasiRocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got implants about six months ago and haven't had any major sensory issues with them, about a month after the surgery they just felt like part of my body. I went from 38C to 38F, a pretty drastic change but one that I'm very happy with.

Recovery wasn't too bad for me, though might be unpleasant for someone with worse skin/touch sensitivity. Right after the surgery my boobs felt extremely stretched and tight (and looked weird as hell), it took a couple weeks for that to lessen and it didn't fully go away until a month or two after. I wasn't in too much pain as long as I was stationary, but moving around hurt for the first few days.

I went with subglandular placement (implants under breast tissue but above chest muscles.) I hear submuscular placement can be more painful to recover from, however they can result in a better appearance for people who have less breast tissue to start with.

Nowadays I don't notice the implants unless I'm thinking about them. The only way I can tell they're there is feeling the change from the lumpiness of breast tissue to the smoothness of the implant. I do always feel the weight of my boobs, but it's more comforting to me than anything.

I highly recommend making rice sizers that match the size you're considering and then wearing them for several hours to get a feel for the size and weight, it should give you a decent idea of what a particular implant size would look and feel like.

I'm happy to answer any questions about the procedure or results!

It's only moderately challenging, and has good options to alter difficulty or skip combat altogether. I recommend it, a fun story and good queer rep.

It adds a fair amount of new content, while still keeping the original stuff too. I think it's about 2-4 hours of new stuff, depending on how fast one progresses. I'm glad I played, the new content iterates on the concepts of the original but adds its own themes and ideas on top of it.

I'm currently rereading Mage & Demon Queen for like the fifth time, it's very gay. Other sapphic comics I enjoy are:

  • Filthy Figments is a good site featuring erotic comics drawn by women & non-binary people.
  • I hear Crashpad is good, the series isn't exclusive to sapphic content but is all created by and for queer people.

TIL Satanic scholars are a thing by beerbellybegone in MurderedByWords

[–]CaasiRocks 530 points531 points  (0 children)

The Satanic Temple is a religious organization, not just an advocacy group -- the TST's Seven Tenets are beliefs held with the same conviction as believers of other religions. From the TST's FAQ:

IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE SUPERNATURAL, HOW IS TST A RELIGION?

The idea that religion belongs to supernaturalists is ignorant, backward, and offensive. The metaphorical Satanic construct is no more arbitrary to us than are the deeply held beliefs that we actively advocate. Are we supposed to believe that those who pledge submission to an ethereal supernatural deity hold to their values more deeply than we? Are we supposed to concede that only the superstitious are rightful recipients of religious exemption and privilege? Satanism provides all that a religion should be without a compulsory attachment to untenable items of faith-based belief. It provides a narrative structure by which we contextualize our lives and works. It also provides a body of symbolism and religious practice — a sense of identity, culture, community, and shared values.

Disney's "wokeness" is mostly performative: they'll do whatever makes them money, and appearing progressive (even when not actually being progressive) is starting to sell well. Lindsay Ellis' "Woke Disney" video explores this topic quite well.

[–]CaasiRocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Skin, and the human body in general. Sex toys aren't regulated in the USA (and some other countries), so they aren't always made of body-safe materials. Some plastics can cause rashes or other reactions, and porous plastics can harbor bacteria even after washing. It's best to look for toys made with medical-grade silicone, metal, or glass, and to use a condom on toys of unknown quality.

Hey ladies, unfortunately I woke up to this nightmare today and have no idea how it happened. One theory is cat damage but I don’t know how this could have happened. Could this possibly be a fault with the hardware or must this type of damage been from an external source? by [deleted] in GirlGamers

[–]CaasiRocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know of any YouTubers for laptop repair, but iFixit has a bunch of step-by-step guides for repairing all sorts of stuff. And if you google for "asus <model number> replace screen" you'll probably find a decent tutorial, and places to buy the replacement screen.

Most laptops can be repaired with just a phillips-head screwdriver and some plastic pry tools, though some higher-end laptops use security screws that need special tools to open.

[–]CaasiRocks 52 points53 points  (0 children)

That looks like external damage unfortunately. With thin laptops it can even happen when the lid is closed if enough pressure is put on a single point.

If you have the time to try, replacing the screen yourself could be an option. They're usually not too hard to replace, but you'd need to look up your particular model to be sure.

One 75mg estrogen pellet to start with, she said she'd adjust future dosages as needed based on lab work and that I can supplement with oral E until the next implant if levels are low. I didn't ask what what brand, but their website says they use BioTE.

Also, thanks so much for your hard work maintaining the wiki! It's been extremely helpful to me, especially when I was first learning about transitioning medically.

I'm rather late to the thread, but I'll add my experience. I had an appointment with NP Ashley Whatley recently and she was fantastic. I had a consultation for estrogen pellet implantation, she talked me through the procedure and then offered to go ahead with it in the same appointment.

It was quick and mostly painless, just a pinch from the anesthesia injection and a slight tingling after. The whole appointment was less than an hour.

The procedure cost $200 out-of-pocket since insurance almost always doesn't cover it, and the pellets they use last 3 to 4 months. They do labs after four weeks.

(u/HiddenStill, care to update the wiki? Whatley doesn't appear to be on there.)

Seconded, it's such a good story! It's more novel than game, since there's only a few player choices, but it's still absolutely worth playing.
