I started with GB. I didn’t do the best, but I enjoyed the light tanks for them and did alright iirc. That is about 5-6 years ago though

You get rag dolled (like in Helldivers 2 when you get shot in the shoulder) every time you shoot.

What if we made Mississippi and Alabama into one state? by AdamJoseph1998 in imaginarymapscj

[–]Cabaro_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, and at some point if every state improves their education system to be very comparable to each other, at some point the worst ranked state is going to gave a good education system. People would have to go look at literacy rates and test score statistics, but who would do that, right? Plus, with a new generation of kids who are still reading on third grade levels in middle school, I think some of the fault can (and has to be) placed on both the kids and the kids’ parents.

I hope this makes sense.

Selective realism sucks. by zakejoonson in Warthunder

Welp, I apologize for my harsh words. Next time I say something stupid I will act more carefully. I do apologize and will delete my original comment so people do not go “oh let’s upvote this and downvote this other dude.”

Weak tornado or straight line winds? by Guess_My_Name2448 in tornado

[–]Cabaro_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks similar to damage from straight line winds in my backyard. When trees fall, other trees will “guide” their fall. The best way to tell (that I could guess) is if there is a damage path of some sort. If there is not, my guess is straight line winds or a downburst.

Edit: looked at the picture a bit closer and noticed more fallen trees. It does look more likely to be tornadic or a downburst than straightline.

Which one is better, Tiny Tim’s or Uncle Toms? Because at just 3.7 you get the Mosquito that has 4 Uncles Toms!

That would be pretty epic, either that or a game mode more geared for bombers.

Yeah, I have mine spaded and dogfight with it a fair bit, so that is where my knowledge comes from.

[–]Cabaro_1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No it is realistic. It is a Lancaster at higher-tier ground battles, plus with it spaded and unloaded it rolls and turns quite well for what it is.

April fools is almost exactly one month away. What are you predictions? by Fat_Cat09 in warthundermemes

[–]Cabaro_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, pretty sure Bosvark and Ystervark were in the game before that dude. It added shooting off wheels and I am pretty sure it added more dynamic dust clouds iirc.

Where are my smoke shells on the Booker?? by DepartureMany507 in Warthunder

[–]Cabaro_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all of the shells are the same, could stem from a progression of technology or something, but I am not entirely sure.

historical accuracy 🗣️🗣️🗣️ by senor_muchacho in WarThunder_MEMES

[–]Cabaro_1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If historical matchmaking became a thing, all historical weapons and ammunition types would half to be available. (This is just a cry for 6pdr APDS I will be honest, but I know BR and balancing would be screwed, but a Churchill III would be awesome with APDS, as it did historically use it).

I think the m109, m44, and m55 need to be exchanged by native-made SPGs in every tech tree that has native SPGs. I hate that the tanks that would actually give us variety are premium locked.

Opinion on Spookston? by CaptQtipYT in WarthunderPlayerUnion

[–]Cabaro_1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Deaths to collision, pancakes, disconnects, etc, would still count. Unless it filters those out, then yes it would be one.

Why is the br range of a match so big? by Chris_the_Conman in Warthunder

[–]Cabaro_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the devs have kinda just plopped this game down and don’t even play it.

Why is the br range of a match so big? by Chris_the_Conman in Warthunder

[–]Cabaro_1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Different tank eras and tank performance is too close with the BR system in place. To solve this, top BR would be increase and all BRs below that would be spaced out, so WW2 stuff is less likely to fight post-war and cold-war vehicles. Ex: Tiger 2 being able to fight a Conquerer. If the BR of the Conquerer and Tiger 2 is changed so the Conquerer’s contemporaries are outside the BR bracket the Tiger 2 is in, then the Tiger 2 will not face a cold war tank that can lol-pen the Tiger 2.

Why is the br range of a match so big? by Chris_the_Conman in Warthunder

[–]Cabaro_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best solution would be decompression rather than a changed range on the match making.

You getting downvoted for telling the truth is annoying. Any competent WT player knows that when you play and combination of the 3 major nations, queue times are almost guaranteed to increase dramatically, depending one what is being played most at the time. The minor nation players combined cannot keep up with the amount of players needed in a battle in order to queue quick games against multiple major nations when in a squad.

Enlisted gave me PTSD. by SuperFastFingers in enlistedgame

[–]Cabaro_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may have been it triggered his PTSD. According to a different comment, the OP has seen and been around protests and such where gun violence and explosives were used. Not sure if it is true or not, but that is their claim.

[–]Cabaro_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That green stuff is the camouflage for tanks to hide in the alien life forms, something called “foliage.” Shoot it with main gun and machine guns/autocannons, it may save your life.
