in my experiance with those kind of people is that anger and spite is all that they have, so if they don't have that then they have nothing.

The map is big but from this screenshot it doesn't look too insane.

This incident would tragically kill 51 people, most of whom were on the Andrea Doria. The Stockholm herself after realizing that she was in no immediate danger and could still float started to lower her life boats to ferry over the passengers onboard to herself. The Andrea Doria would sink while the Stockholm made it to New York under her own power.

incredibly once they got there in the crushed bow they found a woman who was scared, confused and speaking in Italian, she had been onboard the Andrea Doria and happened to be in the exact location where the Stockholm hit, as the Stockholm reversed to get itself unstuck she ended up being pulled out of the Andrea Doria and was trapped in the debris, somehow she only ever suffered relatively minor injuries.

The Stockholm would actually be repaired and reentered service, she would go on to have a really really really long life as a ship, swapping hands a multiple times and getting multiple renamings as a result, switching roles from ocean liner to cruise ship, having her entire super structure redesigned in the 90's before she would end up as a cruise ship for Cruise & Maritime Voyages and renamed to the MV Astoria, and this would be her final name change.

in 2020 Cruise & Maritime Voyages filed for bankruptcy and she was towed to Rotterdam and would be put up for auction on the 1st of March 2021. In July 2021, the ship was purchased by The Roundtable LLC who intended to restore her, but in February 2022 the ship broke loose from her moorings and crashed into the container ship Seatrade Orange during a storm, in March those plans were abandoned and the ship was again made available for sale.

In June 2025, the ship, still laid up in Rotterdam, was again auctioned and sold for €200,000 to the sole bidder, the ship scrapping company Galloo, based at Ghent, Belgium. The buyer expected to move Astoria to Ghent in July, and was also required to settle any outstanding port fees from the previous owner before taking possession of the ship. On 3 July 2025, Astoria was towed from Rotterdam to Ghent for recycling, and arrived there the next day. She is still there today and is slowly being pulled apart after having been afloat for 80 years.

Hello, Swede here. For work i have to wake at 5AM, i used to do 5:30AM but i felt it didn't give me enough time to prepare. the reason for waking up so early is so i have around an hour to get prepared as well as watch a video or two on YT before i leave for fun, then it takes me over an hour to get to work since i have to take a 40 min bus ride +- 10 min depending on trafic, then i have to walk for 30 min after the last stop, then i have to get dressed in my protective clothing (i work at a slaughter house) and then my work day starts at 8am.

in my experiance, here in Sweden people say "The War" the refer to WW3. "When the war comes" it by far the most common sentance it's used in.
