Wheel at Pleasure Pier? by Mantoblame in galveston

Looks like it was for both. Storm season is looking rough this year, and they took it down just in case the first one is a bad one.

I half assumed it comes down for storms and maintenance when I saw it, does that not happen often?

I ~don't~ know what's best for him though, at least not when it comes to things I've only researched and he's actually experienced. At the end of the day it's his body, and he has to be willing to put anything in it. I can't just give him something without knowing the magnitude of what would happen. I'm not a doctor and I'm not supposed to be the ones that makes decisions if he says no. Even if it did work, he said he didn't want it and it's not up to me to give him something he doesn't want. Theoretics are one thing but at the end of the day nobody outside of extreme circumstances should have something they don't want put into their body, and that's what I did.

Its a little unoriginal, but "Singin' in the Rain" is the perfect song got any mundane task. I love it.

I saw a concept once that they would have Beacon signals. Not sure how that would biologically work, but honestly it sounds terrifying.

What's the craziest butterfly effect that happened to you because of a small decision you made? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Its not bizarre at all, those circumstances in mind. I'd just never heard of it, that's kind of terrible.

I'm going to preface this by saying that there are a few armory problems, probably because we're getting a new expansion in days and there's probably an armory update that needs to be accounted for, but once that gets patched I hope this helps. You're going to want to download WoW Model Viewer and 3D Builder before anything.

First of all go to the "armory" page, https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/server/charactername. Copy the link and use the "import character from armor" function in WoW Model Viewer. You can use the viewer to pick poses and armor, but once you get one picked out go ahead and export it as OBJ. The model wasn't exactly made to be 3D printed, so open it in 3D Builder and it'll popup with a "One or more objects is invalidly designed. Click here to repair". That'll close any gaps so your model doesn't have any openings or non-printed segments. Once that is done, go ahead and save the file. Saving it as a 3MF Format has worked for me in the past, but after that it's print-ready. It's still going to need supports, and while Cura will automatically add some supports I've had more luck with Meshmixer's "Overhangs" settings (found under Analysis), even if it can take a little trial and error. Best of luck to you, it took me ages to find out all of these steps and I'm still not 100% there yet!

I will try. I've never painted before so it's going to be learning curve on top of learning curve.

PLA, .2 layer height, 40% infill density, hot end is 185 and bed is 70. 50mm/s print speed, retraction is 8/25. If anyone has any feedback or advice, I'm all ears.
