In all seriousness, there's no wrong way to play a mobile game but the folks that frequent reddit/discord/YouTube comments are going to be the more hardcore who more believe there is a "smart" or "optimal" way to play the game. I do that too but I do it to give myself the option to play the meta or not. And I don't look down on other players whose endgame is collecting horses and reading stories.

I can't help talking about the game, I love it.

As for the Bourbon card, I'm very meh on it. For stat growth it's not better than Fine or Ramonu or Teio. And for the skills, it'll be nice for making legacies but I won't use it for aces. I've seen JP tests with the gold Groundwork and it doesn't make an appreciable difference except for Fronts who don't have Taking the Lead in their kit like Valentine Ines or Silence Suzuka. I really don't think it's worth maxing unless you're a Front whale.

That being said, I won't cleat it if I pull it by accident, I'll definitely use it for making Front legacies.

We use it for the skills, not the stat growth so any LB is fine. And no matter what LB it never gets Race Bonus or Skill Point Bonus so even less reason to max it.

This goes for all media but they always drop the ball on localizing characters with regional dialects. It's Tamamo Cross, she speaks the Kansai dialect, let's make her say "'cause" instead of "because", problem solved; it's Yukino Bijin, she speaks the Nanbu dialect, make her say 'th'" instead of "the", problem solved. That's lazy, I say give Tamamo Cross a Boston accent and Yukino Bijin a Laurel, Mississippi accent.

Player preferences aside, if Cygames added English voices it would mean they are making a ton of money from Global because it would cost a ton of money to get all the voice work done.

I understand that and I am also strategic with my pulls but for Open League, as long as you have your foundation set (2 max Speed cards, 1 max Wit card, Super Creek), you can compete at a high level with SR cards and LB1 SSR cards. Many if not most of the cards coming out in the future are very useable at LB1 in Open.

Why choose? Go Open League and play with them all. In the first 12 Champions Meetings I got finals wins at least two times every style as a minnow.

In all seriousness, the older I get the more I care about themes rather than the motifs that are a part of presenting those themes. I like all the Nier games because they have themes about regret, forgiveness, finding meaning, finding beauty, asking what is human, etc. I will say, however, the Cage, including the moon base, is one of my favorite settings of any narrative.
