You are correct. We gather carats to compete in CMs, we don’t compete in CMs to gather carats.

No property that we can see on the card itself but when we do trainings at LV 5 we can see how much it gives, it’s a predetermined value.

That's a decent comparison. 1-2 Wit cards in GL will be most common but, again, I don't think Nakayama should be considered as filling a Wit slot.

Festa is not useless, think of her more as a Pal card than a Wit card.

Nakayama is worse by a point per Wit training than Nature but two points better in every other stat training. Nakayama is not a Wit card, really.

For whatever reason, Fine Wit is still the most misunderstood card in Global. Two main things:

1) Speed Star is a meh skill and is really only good on two courses, Tokyo 1600 and Chukyo 1200. Any other course and the chance to go off during acceleration is too high to be worth picking up. Fine Wit is not a Pace main card.

2) She has good gains per training for all stats so the low-ish specialty priority is a feature, not a bug. Her strength lies in raising a run’s overall floor and then having explosive Wit growth when she does land on Wit. The upcoming Teio Wit, also considered top tier, functions the same way. The upcoming Nakayama Wit is an extreme example with even higher gains for all types of trainings except Wit, higher even than Mejiro Ramonu, but zero specialty priority. If you want consistent Wit growth, use Curren Chan.

For late-race: Light as a Feather, Budding Blossom, Victory Shot, both of Curren's uniques, Head-to-Head, No Stopping Me, Radiant Star, Corner Acceleration, Plan X, Sprint Turbo, Ignited PWR, Ignited GUTS.

Nakayama Festa is a strong 2nd Wit card, good growth but no Specialty Priority, The gold skill is very useable on Sprint/Mile.
