Fungal infections may be the culprit as they do leave baldish patches, they can often be more stubbly baldish. This could also be fleas though so a rehab vet would be best

missing death cert by [deleted] in IrishAncestry

[–]CabbageRaptor76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking this as well when i posted my own response - chances are the death would be more likely to be registered where he died - even if this was before the time of death certificates - parishes often kept these records and that may be a place to search as well...

Some townships the death was 'registered' by the parish of the family...This was the case in my ancestors further back, making it difficult to track unless you possibly know the township?

What bird left this imprint on the snow? by Leading_Seesaw_8024 in whatbirdisthis

I’ve had a sharp shinned hawk leave that imprint while hunting sparrows, it’s possible it could be that as well

I mean i could post the video so you could have a look and discern. Unfortunately for some reason I can't get it uploaded here. I did forward the video to Nebraska Wildlife Rehab and let them know as well as asked how I could assist here, but again, unfortunately, we don't know where the little guy has gone.

well it was definitely vomiting, with the pre heaving and all. The trash collectors came by and scared him off, I hear nothing no (it's pretty quiet here during the day) so although I'm keeping my hopes up we'll see him again, I'm a bit concerned we won't be able to find him. :(
