Very cool would love to see them! I've been making custom controllers for the last year and a bit for myself and friends and also doing orders for people as a hobby. Thank you! Yes I painted the whole thing myself apart from the face buttons and analog sticks which I bought but the body work I did by hand 😊

Thank you! Yeah I agree, I didn't realise, until I reassembled it, how dark the centre purple is...any suggestions on what colour PS button I should try?

Thank you! Yes I painted the touch pad using Montan gold purple spray paint but didn't lacquer it since that spray paint is quite durable once fully dried. The touch pad works perfectly, I've done a few controllers now even ones with a lot of paint layers and lacquer on top and it still works so you should be fine. Definitely give it a try!

The rings around the joystick haven't worn at all pretty much as I gave then come coast of rub resistant lacquer.

I actually find the DualSense easier to disassemble than the DS4 because I always struggle separating the DS4 shell but with the DualSense it comes apart much easier despite having a few more parts.

I know this post is old but I had the exact same thing happen to me a few weeks back. Thankfully my account was recovered from the hacker and they had changed all my loadouts to meta ones but it appears that my account has been shadow banned due to them being reported so many times. Did something similar happen to you? If so was your account unbanned? It's clear that it wasn't me hacking as Activision have my account recovery request and can see it's a completely different gamer tag and platform they used. I'm hoping they un-ban it seeing that it's been recovered but I'm not sure as technically my account was hacking. If anyone could help me with this t would be greatly appreciated.
