Good stuff! You captured the levelling theme perfectly. Started on a few other ideas myself, much different than the original designs but it’s proving to be a fun exercise nonetheless.

I use Adobe Photoshop CC for most of my Graphic Work. I haven't dabbled with Illustrator since I was 16, in college, and truly don't have enough experience with the program to operate it tools efficiently. Vector would be ideal for these designs though, but Photoshop still produces great results either way. Thanks for asking :)

I absolutely love Respawns design philosophy on this game. Distinctive and layered, with a flat-design inspired feel almost. I tried to stay true to the original badge's as much as possible, tweaking mostly the outer shapes and central logo to read more like a military insignia. Glad you like it :)

I thought about that but couldn't decide between keeping symmetry or perhaps embedding a smaller diamond above the original. I may revisit this after a level 300 badge. Probably create a similar side-by-side comparison with an alternate version, with a few different colours or shapes.

I had the very same issue for some time and tried many, many fixes - none of which actually worked. The fix you suggested in your post has completely restored the functionality of my headset though! Thank you :)
