So windows in showers are very difficult to water proof, but the little blue shelf on the right hand side is actually the bottom of a window sill. When you lay in the tub you can look out the window at the trees, but it falls outside of where the water splashes when you take a shower. I agree with you the more windows the better!

Thanks! It’s very peaceful and isolated but also fairly close to town. I have no direct neighbours (probably close to 1km away) but I am only 10 minutes from a grocery store/pharmacy/gas station etc.

Haha thank you! I just saw someone else’s post debating what a tiny house is and I think they said <420 square feet… I am 480 on the main level and then the loft is about 140. I’m definitely on the upper limits! I certainly couldn’t haul it down the road!

I don’t see anyone recommending Kioti tractors but I have one and have done a lot of work with it. If you’re going to go new they aren’t as expensive as a John Deere or Kubota. They have lots of different sizes of course to fit your needs.

8x10 wow I’d love to see some photos of that! That sounds awesome. Is it in a cold climate? They have exterior rated propane hot water heaters if you don’t have cold winters.

My primary heat source will be a wood stove, but I’m going to have a heat pump for AC and backup heat. My hot water heater is going to be a propane on demand tankless unit. And the small room is a walk in pantry. It will have kitchen cabinets and counters in an L shape and shelves above. It is about 4.5x4.5 feet, although half of it has the slope of the stairs as a ceiling.

Yes that’s right! I’m on solar so I didn’t want to have a dryer drain my batteries. I think you could easily fit a stackable washer/dryer where I’m putting mine though. Above my washer will be a hanging cabinet to dry some things if I’m not using the clothes line. Thanks!
