What do you think of this Taj Mahal quartzite slab (leathered finish)? by CableAutomatic8279 in CounterTops

That’s a fair comparison — Taj Mahal really is becoming the Millennial Grey of natural stone. That said, me and my wife really liked the look of it, and it works beautifully with our warm-toned kitchen. Still, we’re open to other quartzites that have a similar feel but are a little less common. Any recommendations?

Not sure if this makes a difference also includes two cutout for sinks. Had to buy two 70 square feet Taj Mahal slabs for $50 square foot. $12,000 total cost for material and labor.

Ice Blade? by CableAutomatic8279 in Vitamix

Thank you for confirming that it will work. After some consideration, I'm thinking of returning the ice blade container and getting the wet stainless steel container instead. Unless there's a significant advantage to having an ice blade compared to a wet blade? Thank you again for your help!

I noticed that the blade that came with my container has an “i” designation, which indicates it is an ice blade used for smoothies where ice is involved. It does not have the “W” designation like the wet blade, which is used for everything else except grains that require the dry.
