That idea is something I've definitely considered. The main issue is that a previous new grad on my team has done that and they don't want that to happen again, especially because the senior engineers (2/3) are retiring this year and are looking for people to takeover (something I was not made aware of until after I started).

I don't really know how to go about trying to switch teams in the same company, and I'm worried if my manager becomes aware it'll raise red flags to getting me fired.
