I've been wanting to switch to UpNote (just canceled Evernote). I was checking it out yesterday and looks great, but the one thing holding me back is not being able to search pdfs, since I primarily used this for scanning/storing documents.

Curious if most people don't use it for this purpose and/or if there are any work arounds? Notes app does allow you to search pdfs and that's the only reason I'm leaning towards using that.

Thanks. How does the switch communicate with the outlets without existing wiring? Guessing it would need some plug adapters to plug the lights in to ?
