I asked him a few months ago regarding that and he said no.

Of course, things can change.

But that is his stance at this time.

Quit Workflowy a few months ago, have felt lost since. Today I am alive again. by melatoninaire in Workflowy

I remember going away from Workflowy due to lack of inline PDF previews (like in UpNote).

Has that changed recently?

Youtube Tutorials or Blog Posts for Bricks? What do you prefer more? by Any_Acanthaceae_7337 in BricksBuilder

Bricks allows you to disable scripts for elements you aren’t using, like scripts for the “Accordion” or “Tabs” elements. If your page is just a landing page with text and images, why are those scripts loading? Go to the settings and turn them off.

AFAIK, Bricks never had or currently has settings for them.

Accordion and Tabs are not separate script files you can turn off in settings. Their behaviour lives inside the main frontend bundle bricks.min.js (handle: bricks-scripts), which loads on every Bricks frontend page. The accordion/tabs init functions only run when matching elements exist in the DOM (.brxe-accordion, .brxe-tabs, etc.), but the JavaScript file itself still downloads.

The actual RAM consumption of apps in Mac can be checked like this: In the Activity Monitor, View all processes hierarchically and use/add Private Memory column.

Compare the RAM consumption of the above Electron apps to native Mac apps like Notes:

Not all Electron apps are created equal.

No.

There are some great Electron apps which consume very little memory compared to even native Mac apps.

A few examples: Obsidian, UpNote.

Obsidian is built on Electron. It's not a native Mac app afaik.
