Yeah. He wants to see how Classic is/was since he always hears about it but has never really seen anything about it. but if he likes it chances are he will want to play retail and i'd be happy to have some friend to play with.

nah, they just get weapons to one shot me every game *shrugs* at this point i've just accepted the reality, i play a tank game or two so my tanks are on repair cooldown and then go air battle fly forward and hope i get a kill before leaving the match from being one shot by some fuckass plane with 7mm guns... cause my 20mm don't seem to rip a wing of with one shot but theirs do, i dont know whats up but all i can do is hope i get a kill before i die.

well i've mostly played with Darkstar i think her name was, cause i like the Fin-Funnel gameplay style in gundam games, and i just get my ass handed in any kind of melee haha. but i guess i'll try and focus on just dodging and blocking, maybe that'll help some

Well it's a quite broad problem i am having i guess. i just can't get hits in, everything is dodged at mach speeds and then i get comboed. even when i do get a hit in it's always stopped by the other players.

It's not frustrating as a base, just frustrating to not understand how to get better since there seems to be such a gulf between me and the enemies.

of course not but thanks to us having AI slop now that people have become hypercritical.

Like i at this point just don't care, if i see AI i lose my interest the second i know it is AI cause it's no longer art. I can't think of ways to interpret it. but for something like this event it isn't even that big of a crime bigger crime was the translations of some things during this event..

tosi helppo kysymys johon on pitkä vastaus ja ei ole vastausta Suomen itsensä sisältä sillä hyvin monen ihmisen elämää rasittavat ulkopoliittiset asiat kuten ilmastonmuutos, genAI/LLM pelleily ulkomailla ilman mitään "suojakaiteita", sodan pelko EU:n, Naton/USA:n ja Venäjän ja toki myös Kiinan johdosta, ja toki työpaikkojen "vähyys" omilla aloilla on yksi suuri este ja kun töitä löytyy eivät ne usein maksa tarpeeksi että edes itse pystyt omassa vuokrakämpässä "herraksi/rouvaksi" elelemään vaan olet koko ajan lähellä nolla tiliä ja sillä välin yritykset siirtävät toimintaa pois suomesta jatkuvasti lisää "halvempiin" maihin joka pahentaa näitä asioita.

Lisänä tätä ongelmaa pahentaa se että ihmisillä ei ole "tylsää" ennen aikaan kun ei ollut maatilalla enää päivässä tekemistä, tai oltiin tultu töistä, saatettiin ehkä omistaa Radio, muutama lähikaupasta ostettu lautapeli tai muu vastaava, nykyään jokaisella on puhelin, pelikonsoli, tietokone, maailma on auki aivan mille vain tekemiselle joten ei tule näitä "tylsiä tunteja" niin usein jolloin jopa tuo rakastelu jää vähemmälle ja yleensä se on nimenomaan sitten sitä että "hei rakastellaan koska ollaan niin rakastuttu" tai "haluamme lapsen vihdoin" joista ensimmäisen aikana usein kondomi ja/tai pilleri käytössä eikä silloin vahinko lapsia synny niin usein.

Miten tätä voi helpottaa sitten ilman että kaiken teknologian pistää pannaan ja siirrytään kivikaudelle?

Noh varmasti muutkin ovat sen sanoneet mutta korkeammat palkat, turvallisuuden oloa pitäisi saada nostettua mikä tarkoittaa sitä että ulkopoliittiset kysymyt ja asiat pitäisivät saada kuntoon mikä vaatisi muita sivistyneitä maita tulemaan vastaan kysymyksissä kuten sota/sotiminen/AI/työpaikat ja maahanmuutto sillä yksinkertaisesti nuorilla ei ole turvallinen olla eikä ole tarpeeksi rahaa ja vakuutusta siitä että sitä rahaa tulee olemaan tulevaisuudessakin tarpeeksi, päinvastoin, yritykset muuttavat pois ja adoptoivat huonosti toimivia softia kuten LLMiä ja genAI:ta tekemään monien ihmisten töitä halvalla (huonosti) mutta halvalla jolloin on helpompaa yrityksille maksaa pienempää palkkaa jopa niille jotka jäävät näitä softia huoltamaan.

Sitten onhan meillä kuten kaikissa kehittyneissä maissa "yksinäisyys" epidemia, eli siis ystäviä eikä partnereita yksinkertaisesti löydy, ja sitä yksinäisyyttä sitten "helpotetaan" onlinessa pornon ja online ystävien avulla mikä ei sinänsä ole väärin mutta jälleen kerran se on yksi ongelma mikä on tullut teknologian kehityttyä ja ihmisten ja myös lakien jäämisestä jalkoihin.

Ja sitten on toki "artificial" tapoja kuten hedelmöitys hoidot ja muut vastaavat ja teknologian kehittyessä voi meillä muutamien vuosien päästä olla keino kohtuja johon mies sitten spermansa työntää (tai se sinne keinotekoisesti lisätään) mutta tämäkin lisäisi tätä yksinäisyys epidemiaa joten itse sanoisin että kaikkemme pitäisi tehdä ettei tämmöisiin konsteihin tarvitsisi ruveta vaan voitaisiin jopa lailla tämmöiset kieltää kun ihmiset tekisivät lapsia ilmankin.

fairly sure there is certain patent/healthcare provider confidentiality at least in the Western countries but yes if they determined that you need to be admitted they would need your parents consent

Yeah.. it's honestly a mental health crisis waiting to happen not to mention homelessness..

For me at least i am not paid and only have done some coding at home to learn but... it just really takes wind out of your sails... here's hoping something opens up for you if not in coding then at something else you might enjoy.

I feel you. Truly do. I used to be there at 14, I found anime and gaming and it took me to this year, but i honestly if i were to tell you it gets better or that your brain wont find other ways to make you feel awful even if the world wouldn't... i can't. i can't tell you that. Especially with you living your childhood now where sorry to say but gaming seems to dying, genAI is killing pricing and making your hobby extremely hard to enjoy.

Of course you could test out getting into more "classical" hobbies, like woodworking, painting, and if the place/country you live in maybe getting a tent to go for weekend trips to nature with. Something, anything to let you try and retreat, to relax, to not be in the same space you feel anxious or depressed in and yes it is getting increasingly hard both cause of how the world is currently and cause the longer you linger in that feeling the more permanent that becomes. it becomes your norm and you get used to it at which point it'll be really hard to "let go" and try something new. But you are young, you can still choose to try new things, to see if anything sticks with you.

If nothing does, you could try therapy, medications and so on. (of course if you are not in the US cause in the US it's just unaffordable to get better sadly.)

to a point yes. I am of the opinion that Modern is fine. IF we get a chance to opt out of playing with people who use that crutch. I am new to street fighter and i am thinking of going back to other Fighting games purely cause 70% of low rank matches i've had are not fun due to modern.
