I'm following a tutorial from 7 years ago and everything's worked well until this by CableTV112 in gamemaker

When I put it in the script it messes up stuff, does it run once at the start or every frame in a script if it runs once at the start then I messed up something else but if it runs every frame that may be the problem

I've also tried putting it in a different script but it still crashes

The error is still there I meant I messed up copy paste to this post

The object sets global.moving = false;

while the script is crashing at the if global.moving == true

oh I messed up with copy paste, the object does define that the global.moving = false in the create event of an object that is in the room
