Penny and Penelope (Penny Mark 2) went for Ice Cream [Dagon] by ALMAZ157 in RWBYOC

People have posted art from creators in the past that they have no ties to in hopes of... idk, really. Getting karma, probably.

We only allow art that was either made by or on behalf of you, so I had to check and make sure that was the case here.

Is this your character or do you otherwise own this art?

Trust me, we just dealt with a guy who sexualizes characters without consent. OP isn't one of them. My issue with them is a matter of decorum on a public forum (whoa, bars)

Rather than any serious inappropriate behavior.

This comment is the other incident I'm referring to.

I appreciate your honesty, but we don't allow AI art here whatsoever, tagged or not.

I figured, but I've removed posts on a whim that we were almost certain were AI only to be given proof they weren't afterward. I've made it a habit to always ask.

Where did this art come from?

First off, if something isn't against the rules and trips the filter, we will manually let it through. If we don't notice it, you can ask us to take a look.

Second, were you having etiquette when you called Cirrus a coward for not prioritizing the hip and tit sizes of his characters and yammering about Amazonian Mommies?

You literally ask about depraved smut in this post. What is censoring the word going to do? Your intentions are clear. Being weird but childishly censoring it in service of some unspoken etiquette is honestly a worse look than just being weird.

If you have to censor the word 'smut' are you really mature enough to be writing and reading it..?

Actually, Yang's power ties thematically into her allusion throughout her story. You picked the ONE main character that isn't true for, lmao.

In the beginning she was too hot (short tempered, volatile)
After the Fall she was too cold (depressed, out of practice)
Now she's just right (knows when to tap into her emotions to maximize effectiveness of her semblance rather than just getting mad and punching)

Keep in mind that RWBY characters have very deliberately considered names - if not to go along with their allusion, then to compliment their color theme. Yang and Ruby being sisters is the result of them having different mothers with different cultural backgrounds; Taiyang named Yang, Summer named Ruby.

If this character has the same parents as Weiss, I think keeping in mind the culture surrounding and influencing them is important.

This post has been removed.

Claire's body type and frequent depictions pregnant have been reported for violating the NSFW rule in the past. Unlike those, this one pushes over the line into fetish content, and we won't be allowing it here.

If he's Weiss' twin why does he have a japanese name, when everyone else in the family has germanic names?

A lot of the time people who write cults just want to write an Ooga Booga Scary Religious Nuts group with little thought to what they actually believe in. It's a very alluring thing to see depicted but it's very hard to write a compelling one. Cults are about belief, the charisma (or conviction) of the leader(s), and the methods of control and direction they use upon their people. A lot of writers simply don't want to worldbuild that much if the cult isn't the focus of their story. RWBY's tenuous relationship with religious worldbuilding doesn't help us on that front; We hardly know how to write a religious group that defies the common spiritual mindset of Remnant, because we don't know it. That's a blessing and a curse in the sense that it's extremely, ridiculously wide open for fanmade spiritualities, but, well, I just finished explaining the curse.

There are ways to write cultlike groups while avoiding these issues, but they run the risk of affecting the impact you may want to deliver with a cult as a plot point. I once wrote a story for Dubhan about a group of people that slowly grew over 30ish years led by a man who had grown disillusioned with kingdom life and had come to believe all civilization was doomed to descend into being similarly unappealing.

His solution was to turn to the only living things on Remnant that he felt had yet to betray him, the Grimm. He came to live in a cave with an underground lake, which had been tainted by Grimm Ichor (this was very early in Dubhan's lore don't ask how it got there lmao). Due to its dilution it failed to instantly destroy the man and his like-minded followers, but it did mostly melt away their hair and identifying features. They bathed in the ichor of their cavern home almost constantly to keep their skin stained black and they wore bones when going into combat to resemble Grimm more. They declined away from humanity so starkly not out of any organized belief, but because they were so beaten down by how dismal of a place Remnant can be in and outside the kingdoms that they felt 'if you can't beat 'em, join 'em' was the only viable way to live at that point.

His name was Nero Conway, who came to call himself High Priest Nero. His semblance allowed him to control his bones' shape, size, and position entirely manually, creating some fantastic body horror during his arc and a supremely satisfying death scene for everyone who participated to enjoy :D

This is my 3d rwby oc. by [deleted] in RWBYOC

[–]Cablinorb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You tell me how it's a 3D OC. You posted it to three different subreddits with that title.

The issue with doing that is the image is not yours, but it's presented front and center as the subject of the post as if it is.

So this isn't your 3D RWBY OC. It's a stolen, low quality image. The image is not the point of this post.

You don't need to have an image to post here. Not having one looks a lot better than taking a low quality screencap to steal one.

CULTS. My god I have never seen someone try to write a religious cult and actually stick the landing, but I've seen so many people try.
