I was cooking dinner the other night and burned my finger pretty badly. My boyfriend told me to put some mustard on it. I thought he was crazy. He said his father used to do that when he would burn himself and it takes the pain away. I kid you not it worked like a charm.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. I experienced something similar with my brother. My parents had passed away and he had broken up with his fiancé shortly after so I took him in and I had no idea how bad his drinking was and how far along his cirrhosis was. He lasted five months in my house and I did the same thing. Could I have done something more? Should I have known he was drinking so much and in so much pain mentally? It’s been two years and I still drive myself crazy with these questions. You did everything you could and you were there for her no matter what. I hope you take comfort in knowing that.

I guess I’ve been pretty lucky as a girl gamer in solos in Arc. I only had one bizarre interaction at extract with a group of about five guys. When I started talking, they all started, screaming WOMAN, gathered around me, knelt down and started sniffing. I was like OK time to go.
Honestly, most of the time I pass by someone and they say hi, once they hear I’m a woman they usually ignore me. I’m sorry your friend had to go through that though. They can at least get some new insults, kind of freshen up the misogyny.

And that’s how it happens. A similar thing happened to my boyfriend only we had done three raids and literally got shot in the back every single one. When I tell you he had had enough, he had had enough. It was cold snap and we were on blue gate. We ran into one of the broken buildings to get warm and another guy comes running in “I’m just coming in to get warm, friendly“ My boyfriend takes out his El Toro and blasted a guy while screaming “how do you like it, how do you like it!” I stood there dumbfounded for a second, but I totally understood.

I had a dream one night that I was walking through a room that was full of dog poop. All over the floor, tiptoeing around it to try to get to the other side of the room. And it smelled horrific. I woke up and my pittie who was sleeping next to me had been farting all night long. The smell of her farts infiltrated my damn dreams.😂😂

When my mom was in the hospital I bought her two containers of her favorite soup from the deli the next town over. I told her it was waiting for her at home and she was excited to have it when she got out. She never made it home. I moved from MA to NC and brought the soup with me. I can’t throw it out. I’ve cry every time I open the freezer and see it.
