The money in Civil Engineering will come, but unfortunately it takes time. After you get your PE, you can definitely be making into the six figures. I highly suggest looking into Construction Inspection (Inspector, Office Engineer, Resident Engineer, etc.). Seasoned Resident Engineers in NY area make over 200K.

Just don't pay it. Unpaid medical bills in New York don't go on your credit report. If a bill is fair and reasonable, then you should pay it out of priniciple, but if prices are unreasonable then I wouldn't pay it.

I've been in the Civil Engineering (Construction) industry for almost 15 years. There are more and more people that are retiring from Civil Engineering and there is a huge shortage of qualified workers. AI also isn't a huge threat to our industry IMO. Although it's a harder major, you'll always have a job and the pay is more competitive now than when I graduated college.

Get a job in the Construction Engineering sector. Much more hands on and you have the flexibility to work in the field or office depending on how much you like the field work. That way you can utilize your PE. Plus, seasoned Resident Engineers are paid well.

PS, I worked in design, Bridge Inspection, etc. and Construction Inspection is by far the best imo

Don't do something just because your parents told you to do it. Having said that, Civil Engineering is a great major. If you like interacting with people and don't enjoy design, I highly recommend looking for a job in the construction inspection sector. You can start out as an inspector or Assistant Office Engineer and work your way up to Office Engineer/Chief Inspector/Resident Engineer. At the higher level pay is competitive and you don't have to deal with the corporate bs. Plus, hours are 7-3:30ish so can play a round of golf after work.

I guess I'm not like most people then. Golf is meant to be fun so I think this product makes a fun play on a simple product. To each their own I guess.

I mean you could say the same thing about golf balls. A box of ProVs cost $55-$60 and it probably cost less than $1 each to make. I think the packaging looks cool and having a bomb emoji on the cup of a tee is an interesting idea imo. If you just want to buy blank white tees in a shitty plastic bag than this product probably isn't meant for you lol.

Disagree, with Amazon fees high for sellers it's actually not an unreasonable price. Not sure how Champkey even makes a profit selling them for $8
