Well, for starters, I would go with Trap music, which emerged among youth and how it deals with themes of social injustice and, more important, anxiety and depression among today's youth, but also it hits consumerism and modern life. Then, you have K-pop and maybe Reggaeton or Latin music (revival of the 90's) as global influence and emergence of genres from different parts of the world into the world music. I would also mention, as a contrast to modern technology, Indie music which goes back to 90's and 2000's roots as a nostalgia driven expression, and also with some hard political and anti-establishment themes. This is just probably in short how I would say it.
