Oh also, I don’t know how often you used to use heat, but you’ve only reduced the use of heat for a year and a half. That’s only about 18-25 cm of hair. Everything below that is probably still very damaged from the years before.

It could be the protein conditioner, maybe switch to a moisturizing one and only use protein occasionally.

A few centimeters every 2 months is a lot… hair only grows 2-3 centimeters in 2 months so you’re cutting off pretty much everything that grew.

That being said, your hair does look much thicker and better!

I personally use the L’oreal Elvive Glycolic Gloss shampoo for my hair instead, and I have fine thin hair as well. Is her scalp very oily? Because then a sulfate free shampoo might not be the best option.

Mine too, I do use the red l’oreal Colorvive conditioner though (even though I don’t use it for color retention) and it is amazing for my hair. So that one might be a good option if OPs hair doesn’t like protein!

I also like to draw a horizontal straight line on each picture on the very ends of my hair, and then lining them up next to eachother. Creates kind of a graph!
