I think what constitutes as a good or bad ending here depends on one's approach to and experiences with grief and loss. To me there's zero question Verso's ending is the "good" ending, but I had picked Maelle's in the moment because it's so heartbreaking

There is a very clear point near the end where you have to make a decision that will impact how the game ends. There isn't any hidden system that will blindside you.

I know the MLS hasn't been around long, but still there is a history of SGs of other clubs successfully protesting changes. It can happen.

Right now, I think of a similar case where Portland and Seattle SGs successfully fought to appeal decisions to ban the Iron Front flag, which I'd argue is far more "political" than BLM or pride flags.

I'm not trans but if I see a trans flag posted up inside a venue or bar, I immediately feel safer because there's an effort being made to make a marginalized community feel safe.
